Canberra Raiders five eighth Jack Wighton named finalist for Male Athlete of the Year in CBR Sport Awards
Canberra Raiders five-eighth and reigning Dally M Medalist Jack Wighton has been named a finalist for the 2020 CBR Sport Awards. The awards will be present via a free on line event on Wednesday December 16 at 12:30 pm.

Jack Wighton named Sportsperson of the Year at 2020 Dreamtime Awards
Canberra Raiders five eighth Jack Wighton has added to his list of awards for 2021, named Sportsperson of the Year at the 2020 Dreamtime Awards in Sydney last night. The awards recognise Indigenous excellence. Wighton won the Dally M Player of the Year and shared in the Meninga Medal in 2020.
The other finalists for the Dreamtime Sportsperson of the Year were Ashleigh Gardner (Cricket) Josh Addo-Carr (Rugby league) and Marlion Pickett (Australian rules).
