38th min Storm claiming a crusher from Hudson Young, but the referees say it is an accident. Correctly.

It was also a very clear loose carry that had no **** prayer of being reversedRoger Kenworthy wrote: ↑October 16, 2020, 7:41 pmWe don't seem to have leaders that can think on their feet on this regard.

39th min Valemei fails to come close to a bomb. Luckily, Croker covers it.

I'm sorry, but Croker has become absolutely **** useless in everything bar his goalkicking. His gameplay alone should not warrant a spot in FG anymore

Look, we are in the fight. If we can fluke an early try after the break we are a long-odds chance. I'm not sure what happened in the first 20, no excuses we were bamboozled. We have the talent.

40th min Croker loses the ball in the ruck. He's had a problem with a crusher like tackle too.

Croker can fit CNK right off. Fb from panthers to Fb and CNK to Centre.

Ball headbutted out by a defender in the ruck. I'd take my chances there rather than wait till we're 36-6 down with 10 to go.Botman wrote: ↑October 16, 2020, 7:44 pmIt was also a very clear loose carry that had no **** prayer of being reversedRoger Kenworthy wrote: ↑October 16, 2020, 7:41 pmWe don't seem to have leaders that can think on their feet on this regard.

When you have Croker, Valemei and Rapana in an unfavoured position, this performance was bound to happen sadly.

No Starling that half.... Wouldn't have made it not 24 to 6 but would have been nice to give it a go...

Yeah a bit of both, worth rolling the dice at this stage.Roger Kenworthy wrote: ↑October 16, 2020, 7:47 pmBall headbutted out by a defender in the ruck. Re: 2020 Finals Week 3 V Storm: Game Day
Refs ruling on the offside has been pathetic. Melbourne are just playing with him.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.
Re: 2020 Finals Week 3 V Storm: Game Day
While I would love to see it I think the damage has been done. I am shell shocked. I'd welcome the opportunity to be humbled but I think the best result would be only losing by 12.

Surely possession and luck has to change in the 2nd half. Unbelievable run by Mel.
It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

Re: 2020 Finals Week 3 V Storm: Game Day
Very disappointed, totally not in the game first 20 and they made us pay big time. No chance we come back from this, best case we get within 6-12 points but storm too good to let this one slip. Our backs are too slow and Croker is in dad mode now and doesn’t offer much at all, mainly a liability that we have to carry. Hopefully we can blood a young and quick backline next season.

Hoping for a resilient 2nd half. I always thought 2021 will be our year to give it a real tilt with all the challenges this year.

How many times out of 100 would we win this game from this position? I think we would be lucky to win one.
