Gungahlin Bulls set up grand final showdown with Canberra Raiders Under 20s
Gungahlin Bulls centre Jedidiah Simbiken will meet his brother Jeremiah in the Canberra Raiders Cup grand final after helping his side to a victory over the Woden Valley Rams.
Simbiken helped orchestrate a 34-20 win, scoring twice and setting up two more to ensure his side would finish in the top two and hence contest this season's decider against the Raiders under-20s.

Welcome to our coverage of today’s Round 9 CRRL Cup clash between the Canberra Raiders Under 20s and the Gungahlin Bulls, from Gungahlin Oval. It’s a very nice 21C, a bit cloudy, a cool breeze.
In Reserves, the UC Stars lead the Gungahlin Bulls 28-4 with just over 10 minutes remaining.

13th min Huge run from Mooney, Bulls half Connor Williams sin binned for ruck infringement on him.
TRY RAIDERS to Brigham Moeakiola. Big overlap on the right. Both teams probably trying to hold something back for next week’s Grand a Final, but it is all Raiders at the moment. Converted from out wide by Jordan Williams.

Re: 2020 CRRL Cup
2020 CRRL Cup Grand Final
The Canberra Raiders Under 20s meet the Gungahlin Bulls this Sunday in the CRRL Cup Grand Final at Seiffert Oval.
The two teams met in the final round of the regular season last weekend, with the Raiders coming out on top. The Raiders were on fire at the start of the match, leading 18-0 after 20 minutes. But they experienced some significant injury problems during the game, with Manase Kaho and Jayden Clarkson battling on, given the lack of replacements on the sidelines. That doubtless contributed to a comeback from the Bulls, but they also have some fine players, with Tre Williams leading them around the park. At three quarter time, the score was level, 24-24. But the Raiders came home the stronger, ultimately winning 46-28.
So far this year, the Raiders have won two of the three contests between the two clubs, the Bulls one. That loss to the Bulls is the only loss the young Raiders have experienced in 2020. The Bulls finished with a 4 and 4 season record, but finished the season strongly. Good luck to both teams. I'm tipping the Raiders, but the Bulls have shown that they can beat the Green Machine on their day. There will be a live stream of all the Grand Finals.

Gungahlin Bulls out to end premiership drought against Raiders under-20s
The Gungahlin Bulls are on the hunt for their first top-grade premiership since 2001, but standing in their way are the mighty Canberra Raiders Under 20s who have lost just once this year en route to the final.
"They have been the benchmark all season, their middles and outside back are really good," Bulls half Tre Holton-Williams said. "The Raiders, they obviously train everyday and their standard of competition is good to play against. Our energy needs to be better, our aggression, and we obviously need to start better."

Gungahlin Bulls out to end two-decade Canberra Raiders Cup premiership drought
Gungahlin coach Neil Bijorac has held the Canberra Raiders Cup as both player and coach. Now he's out to end the Bull's 19-year title drought. He can see similarities between the new crop of Bulls and the Queanbeyan Blues side he coached to success in 2005 and 2008.
"It's a similar feel, obviously those sides had some quality players and we have some quality players. But I think it's a lot of the stuff that goes beyond football, the friendships and the camaraderie."

Quarter time
Woden Valley Rams 12
UC Stars 0
Stars have been a bit unlucky, both Woden tries have come from kicks and horrible bounces.

Re: 2020 CRRL Cup
Not long to kick off in the first grade Grand Final. The Raiders side is unchanged. The teams have warmed up on the adjacent field, and have gone directly onto the field.
