Re: 2020 Rd 18 V Dragons: Game Day
Who is Ramsay related to to get this debut treatment?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

The referee Adam Gee cannot continue, Matt Cecchin is the substitute referee. Raiders have the breeze in the second half, they kick off and we are back underway.

Re: 2020 Rd 18 V Dragons: Game Day
If Ricky picks Semi next week I'm firing up a sack the coach thread. Absolute ridiculous stubbornness from the guy
Re: 2020 Rd 18 V Dragons: Game Day
Concerned today for the game sure, but not long term. Decision making typically poor in new wingers... and as I said, he also made one excellent decision/one-on-one tackle and one great read. That part of his game will improve lots over timeCanberra Milk wrote: ↑September 12, 2020, 3:58 pmCost us two in one half, and not concerned? Come on... LolBoomercm wrote: ↑September 12, 2020, 3:53 pmHe saved us two tries early (great tackle on norman, then good read on grubber), then he cost us two. The second one was not pretty. He's 6 games in so I'm not that concerned with his play. But I'm not sold that he has the speed and athletic ability to go with his strength. He might make a good back up.Hong Kong Raider wrote: ↑September 12, 2020, 3:43 pmNeed to be gentle with your comments here. Otherwise people here will call you stupidRoger Kenworthy wrote: ↑September 12, 2020, 3:42 pm Valemei just looks like a park footballer put into the NRL. Shocking call to select him after last week.
I like his speed and athleticism. But decision making is a 1/10 right now

Finally a play to Crokers strength. That’s how we need to use Croker, kick chase only

Our backline is just catching and passing, no hitting balls at speed, no off loads. Lucky we are score from kicks and scrambled play.
One day the Raiders and the Cats win the same year and make my head explode!!

45th min TRY RAIDERS to Jarrod Croker, chasing a Whitehead grubber from 20 metres out. That's a sensational kick from Whitehead. No conversion from Croker, from out wide.
Raiders 18-8

Elliot is so good. Always a shining light, even when it's dark
Re: 2020 Rd 18 V Dragons: Game Day
for all the dufty lovers... where was dufty positioned then for that grubber. CNK stops that every time.

We will win, but it's like getting your dinner at a 7-11. It fills a need, but isn't satisfying. We've been dining out at 7-11s a lot this year.

George has to do more with his long kicks.
Totally ineffective.
A midfield bomb would be a better option than what he throws up.
