excellent in flegg and also excelled at mounties, was good in the trial not much more he can do.Northern Raider wrote:He's one of those juniors with raps on them but realistically we've not had anything to judge him on this year. He was the one that played in the 9's and did next to nothing?
He doesn't look big enough - and in this day and age I'd much rather a tall bulky lad on the wings.
Mind you his profile says he's 6"1 and 95kg...which almost sounds like Croker. Which really doesn't seem big enough...maybe I was right the first time.
Anyway - point is I don't get the attraction to him. I hope he does well if he gets his chance, but this feels like one of those lads who'll end up at another club.
Now we wait to see when I'm wrong...
Of course you may be right and that's why we're seeing Valemi get a chance ahead of him.

In order to sign a player one needs to come available i.e get released from his current contract. Doesn't matter how much cap space you have if that doesn't happen.

BIG news with JB back on deck. Even if he cant play this week, the extended bench probably means he'll be back next week or the week after at the absolute lattest
Fantastic
Also pumped for HSS, excited to see him play. I'd prefer him starting with Raps back on the wing and Semi on the bench.

Jordan Rapana at centre makes me very nervous... Hopefully there's a change there.
Re: 2020 Rd 11 V Rabbitohs: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*
I do wonder whether there really is an arm infection, or if Ricky know he stinks so bad he's saving him embarrassment by having him out "injured" rather than dropped for rookies.

Good to see Bateman maybe back. Rapana in the centres though... Seems like a bad idea... Surely Cotric is a better option than someone who has never really played there at any level...
Re: 2020 Rd 11 V Rabbitohs: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*
Are we ignoring the fact that we're carrying two halves on the extended bench?
Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I wouldn’t think it has anything to do with CHN. I think we sometimes overlook that CHN hasn’t been released by the doggies yet and therefore, no deal with the raiders can be reached.
I imagine once he is released, he’ll sign with us and we can bring him in virtually straight away. As long as it’s all done by the cut off date which I think is 3 August.

Surely you name one of your juniors to encourage them and reward them for their hard work at training, as opposed to naming a star just for the sake of naming them ?
Can an arm infection be that bad to miss 2 weeks of football?
