I don’t normally blow up with a loss! But....

Scott has to go.

Hodgson needs to stop over playing his hand! Tries to produce every single bloody play! Your a dummy half, deliver to your halves and play a shot when it’s on!!!!!!

Yep, since the Storm game we have played about 20 minutes of footy that is anywhere near Top 8 standard.

I don't think I have ever seen Hodgson string such **** performances together as he has in 2020.

We really don't offer a lot when he is off.

Green thumbs wrote: June 21, 2020, 5:53 pm Well the ref has had a big hand in this - so many forward passes ignored, over abundance of restarts for Manly but few for Raiders for exactly same issues, penalties all Manly’s way.
Raiders have put their heart and soul into this and had three almost tries. Were right in the game all along. Didn’t give up.
You do realise that Manly had 15 players for 75 minutes and 14 for the second half? There are no excuses. There is no blame on a referee for a performance like that. Atrocious stuff. Nobody took control.

Now that we have good halves, Hodgson needs to take a back seat.

Halves did nothing, Hodgo was ordinary, handling was abysmal... not sure what to say.

We're 4-2. Wouldn't call us cactus.

They will learn a lot from that game. Manly defended well, but we absolutely smashed them up.

Our attack just needs Hodgson to keep it simple in the middle and trust his halves with the ball. It's no coincidence that he has been all over the shop since being talked up as the best in the business.

Thing is Manly didn't do anything to put us off. We did it ourselves today.

My concern is that we're about to go into an extremely tough patch of games and it is going to take us awhile to find any sort of confidence and rhythm from the looks of things. By the time we do we could be well out of touch with the top of the ladder.

Congratulations Manly, well played, deserved to win.

There was effort by the Raiders but we are missing teamwork. Some very dumb attack, some very panicked attack, some very one out attack.

I'm resisting the temptation to single out players for a bad game. Instead I would like to highlight how good Elliott played. The guy never gets the recognition he deserves, give him Batemans coin.

Cotric to the centres and Simo to the wing. Nick may as well have not been there with Scott on the field.

Ok that wasn't very good

1. We need more bodies in motion. Forwards need to run in pairs

2. Trying to win by attrition just gets you massacred by set restarts. Stick, hodgson, Williams and Jack need to have a sit down on this tactic. It will not work in 2020. This is an issue for coach and playmakers to work out

3. We have to work out the right edge. Nobody is faultless out there. Maybe move Jack to defending on the right or swap tapine and whitehead in defence

4. I don't think we are as doomed as some here.

Manly beat us for fun..

The boys were dreadful.

We haven't been in the groove since beating Melbourne, and that 2nd 40 was ugly..

I think we're gonna be relying on a late run again this season. With our run coming up I can only see us winning 1 from our next 5 and that means 5-6.

We're tripe.

1. Scott need a break
2. Hosdgson needs to stop over playing his hand
3. SIA need more minutes

We fix that we will be fine. Effort is there , defence is there just not clicking in attack

Manly didn't do anything special but still beat us easy. And with 14 men. Scott really needs to go - can't run, can't defend, can't hold onto the ball

Trash performance. Had a dig for about 20. It’s like they just expect it to happen.
Rude shock over the next month if they expect that.
I think you have to drop Scott. They need to make a statement.
Jack went missing today. Hodgo overplaying and getting nowhere.
Williams has a dig. This starting Soliola thing is crap plays his best footy off bench.
Manly scrapped and fought and with their injuries that shows they have heart. Ours is about the size of a pea atm.
On top of that the ref decided poor Manly and gave them penalties and six again galore.
Very disappointed in this team at the moment.

This we weren’t that bad...

So close with rapana and croker and the ref was wearing his manly jersey

Last week I defended Scott. today he's wearing heavy skates on thin ice.

He offered nothing tonight.
