Actually why are we even discussing the way Dally M points are awarded.

The year Hayne was a joint winner, he picked up 2 points in final round 26, when we beat them easily and he made mistakes that directly led to our tries. Even Mccrone was clearly better than him that day.

I swear they just throw a point or 2 at the teams "star player" whenever they win. Hodgo was just ok that game- Whitehead had a far bigger game, Williams was more clinical, the bench was so good Sutton or Havillii or Guler could steal a point even.

Williams produced many more rocks than diamonds as well. CNK was the only player I would've thought deserves points.

Utter insanity... CNK deserved a point, Hodgson played like garbage, Williams produced one decent kick which got us back in the game and also the kick which got the Eels back in the game so that evens out to a 0 at best.
