Pretty accurate at a Raiders perspective.

Although Jake Trbojevic is rated too highly. Would put several players plus Papalii ahead of him.

I'm not sure Taumalolo is in the top five either any more. Wade Graham in front of Papalii is a travesty.

I reckon after the first say top 20 the rest are plucked...

I mean..how much thought, research or homework goes into deciding Josh Maguire #49 is ranked one spot higher than the Kuta brawler #50.

It's all bull..

It was a panel of people who voted and the list is a composite of their ordering. So it has the benefit of averaging opinion, at least.

Opinion..

That's where we are at with this list.

They have Boyd Cordner ranked higher than Nathan Cleary and Michael Morgan..explain ?

And Ryan Papenhuyzen after 1 full season? in 1st grade...cmon.

Cleary and Morgan were pretty ordinary last year, compared to their usual standard.

Four players in the top twenty is an amazing turnaround in the talent of our squad from when Stuart arrived.

Papalii is top 5 and I would argue top 3. To have him below Jake T is ridiculous. He is heavily underrated.

I think you could make a case for at least a few more of our players e.g. Cotric, Tapine, Croker in the bottom half of that list but the glaring omission for mine is Whitehead. No way in the world are there 50 players ahead of him.

Could say top 10 but top 3 is stretching it a little too far. He's still getting great recognition as the no1 prop ahead of the likes of Klemmer, JWH and Haas.

I'd struggle to name a more influential player last year. Tedesco is a given as the best but then it would only be previous seasons that get players like Lolo ans Smith ahead of him.

You'd have to agree he should be well clear of Jake T and Wade Graham. The only forward who could go with him when it mattered was JWH.

As far as rankings after that I think it comes down to how much you value forwards and middles in particular.

Based on last year's form I can't agree with Cotric, Tapine and Croker in the top 50 but I'm totally with you on Whitehead.

Very good pickup on the omission of EWhitehead in the top 50.

He's probably ranked 50-100 somewhere with Chris McQueen one place higher.

On average each side should have around 3 players in the top 50 each, Raiders certainly acknowledged having 5 in the top 30
