So sack Scott for an off field alcohol related incident then sign James Roberts.LastRaider wrote: ↑January 28, 2020, 8:20 am What about James Roberts from Souths. They now have 3 FG centres down there now. Plus the raiders need some pace

im... im not that big on Xerri
I know he's super highly rated, and he's also very young and has a lot of potential, but havent seen enough to make me think he's a budding superstar.
That of course can change given his age, but as of right now, im not seeing it.

DT article saying Doueihi has told team mates he is gone. Article says new clubs have joined the race and that we could be one of them.
Probably adding 1 and 1 and getting 3 because of the Scott situation .

Yeah we're not signing him. They're not having Scott front up to training today to turn around and sack him.
If he does something else to get sacked in the meantime, Doueihi would be wrapped up by then.

Cheers. The other article made it seem like he was going to make an apology then train. Looks like meats back on the menu boys?KasparRaider wrote: ↑January 29, 2020, 11:09 am He ain’t training with them today.

Not really. Just nothing else to talk about.
I don't really care what the club does. Don't know the guy personally, just every indication points to him being bad news. I'm just sick of that crap with my club.

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020
Why do you need to 'prise away' a player that said club desperately wants to offload?
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020
If we are talking about the Origin star out with Curtis... we only have a few and he's become quite friendly with Cotric. Which is one reason I'm lukewarm on keeping Scott- bad apples spoiling others and all that. The other possibility is Wighton (hey it's not civic!) who still loves a big night on on the sauce according to what I hear.
As for Duges... Has Ricky ever coached him? I can't really believe it. He makes the odd good run but the glacial play the ball afterward negates any benefit for the team.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020
I think the Origin star referred to isn't a Raiders player.

What does it matter anyway? Nothing untoward happened at Ivy from what we have heard, so it's a non issue.

The headline would have to be "Origin star enjoys night out at popular nightspot and is not arrested."Roger Kenworthy wrote: ↑February 3, 2020, 9:39 am What does it matter anyway? Nothing untoward happened at Ivy from what we have heard, so it's a non issue.

The Club that was supposedly maybe going after Josh Dugan to replenish their outside back stocks was St George. We would never even entertain the idea of ever having him back. Even on old boys day he will never be invited back to the club in anyway, shape or form trust me.

They've already come out and said no to signing Dugan:

Haha it would have been an odd signing for them. They don't pay that much for busted players. Even at half price.
