Replacement on the roster, not starting 13. Same game styleBotman wrote: ↑January 25, 2020, 7:58 pmThat's what he signed to be. I dont know what Matt is going on about uptop here. But Scott is the Beej replacement. And that may change if this HSS dude is a stud, or Cotric gets moved there again to cover injury and is dominant there or some other guy just bursts onto the scene
But the club's plan right now i think appears to be Croker-Scott for the next 2-3 years... beyond that is too far ahead to plan for a sporting organisation.

Round 9, BJ v JC in Tamworth on a Saturday afternoon, should be a cracker. Jack and Elliot also on that side. I wonder how BJ will go with a disciplinarian like Michael Maguire as his coach?? No mistake footy is Maguire's trade mark and BJ is not known for that style.

Devastated tbh. Will end up the most under rated Raiders player imo.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.
Re: Wests Tigers sign Joey Leilua from Canberra Raiders
Reality is we’ve lost two of our greatest ever backliners, and thats going to impact on the overall strength, quality and experience of the squad. There’s not enough evidence that Simonnson and Scott are worthy replacements, so you have to trust Ricky and his judgement based on what he sees in practice. All I know is BJ was a gun and you dont win grand finals with reliable, steady types like Croker, you really need x factor and our backline appears decidedly weaker.gangrenous wrote: ↑January 26, 2020, 1:12 pmIt’s a good thing. Look how lack of turnover impacted 2017. Good to have some fresh blood trying their guts out and keeping the standard high.rayden83 wrote:Losing Rapana was a blow but losing BJ as well is detrimental to prospects next season. Neither Scott or Simonsson are the in the same calibre as those two (yet, probably ever) and its hard to fathom that we can go one better than last year with an overall slightly weaker squad.
Plus look how well Simonsson started the bunnies Semi

You'll get over it Brew.
Way better to have it revealed that he's a flog on the turps now, rather than half way through the season.

Yep, the club has all the options now. Should be fine as long as the rest of the crew can keep focus.

We all now how many things have to go right to make a GF and this season already has a smell of disaster written on it.
If we lose our trial game I’m preparing for the worst.

Are we expecting him to get off Scott free? Or will he cop it?

Joey Leilua disappointed with Canberra Raiders exit
An honest Joey Leilua is frustrated by how his time in Canberra came to an end and feels he had more to give the Raiders.
"The club I'll hold dearly to my heart because they gave me the chance to play there. I just wanted a fair chance to be in the team and I felt like I wasn't given a fair chance to get in that team. I know for a fact if I had a fair chance I'd be the starting centre on either side."

Confirmed he wasn’t taken to the Sunshine Coast as he returned from the break over weight.
