She made a lot of uncharacteristic errors which her opponent was good enough to pounce on.

It's been a great couple of months from Ashleigh Barty.

She holds onto the #1 after this tournament is run and won.

The cricket - yes, but how good was the men's singles final? Federer unlucky not to win it.

Tennis has come a long way. Ash Barty's opponent looks to have a neck tattoo.

Novak came within a whisker of being the first man since Laver to win the calendar grand slam. I know he is a polarising figure but I felt for him today, it was a great achievement to get so close.

Yeah I don't agree with the Djokovic hate, like there's a few people who hated then others just jump on the bandwagon to join in - I actually don't mind him. Federer will always be the greatest to me regardless of statistics but Djokovic is one of the all-time greats

Djokovic strikes me to be the least naturally talented of the big 3 and that he has to push himself harder physically and mentally - that's why I like him.
Federer is pretty to watch and Nadal is such a weapon on clay but there's Djokovic always fighting in the last few on every surface in every event, nothing pretty just guts and effort forcing you to beat him not beating himself

Yeah I get the appeal. Mrs Fui likes him. Defensively he’s like a wall, but he’s a bit “Meh” to me. Saw him play years ago against David Ferrer in Melbourne. Ferrer got absolutely demolished.

I’m more of a Rafa fan myself when it comes to the big 3.

Djokovic is playing games with Tennis Australia.
He refuses to tell organisers of AO his vaccination status.
Tennis Australia have made it very clear all players will be double jabbed to play.
I don’t care if he’s jabbed or not.

All fans will need to be vaccinated to attend.

I get this feeling AO organisers are going to let him enter AUS and play the tournament.

Novak Djokovic given Covid -19 exemption permission to defend AO title.

He’s coming, but make sure you’re doubled vaxxed to watch him play.

They are firing up on social media about this.

People ain’t happy and rightly so.

Vic premier said in late Oct..”there will be no exemptions, all players, staff, volunteers and fans entering Melborne Park WILL be double vaccinated”

A lot of the comments are spot on.

Australians have been locked down for 2ys.
Families kept apart.
Vaccination passports required to visit a pub.

Not only has Novak been given permission to enter AUS with an exemption there is no reason for him to for go any details on arrival in Melbourne to orangisers.

This stinks..

And the Victorian government hold no weight whatsoever..
