Voting open for Indigenous v Maori All Stars game

The 2020 Indigenous v Maori All Stars fixture will be played on February 22 at the Gold Coast's Robina Stadium. For the second year running the format will feature men's and women's Indigenous teams taking on their New Zealand Maori counterparts.

Voting is open for fans to have their say on who should feature in the men's fixture, with Indigenous coach Laurie Daley and Maori coach David Kidwell to have final say in the make-up of the sides.

The Canberra Raiders director said the council was expected to have a recommendation for the ARLC early next week.

As an Indigenous woman, she personally "had difficulty" with several lines in the anthem, but said the council was canvassing a range of opinions before making a decision.
