Re: NFL Thread
Seahawks with some mad disruptions in recent weeks. Flu goes through the whole team, assuming they get vaccinated, that's pretty ****.
Gordon can't overcome his demons.
Kendricks found guilty of insider trading.
I think 6 defensive starters are out.
Club finds out Wilson is actually baby Yoda.

Was Kendricks (dont know who he is if I'm being honest) moonlighting as a Stockbroker?

I haven't seen a lot of detail about his case, other than his sentencing keeps getting put back.

Re: NFL Thread
Na, he got an some inside information about a stock situation and made some profits off of it.
Just a dumb **** who got told to do something and did it without considering the laws around that sort of thing
Not sure if he's realistically going to get jail time.
Re: NFL Thread
This entire Josh Gordon (and others) career is going to look really, REALLY **** dumb when 2 years from now when the new CBA is inacted and the NFL isnt even testing for marajuana anymore.
The NFLPA knows this is a foregone conclusion, the NFL knows it's a foregone conclusion, the fans knows it's a foregone conclusion... no one in any party gives a **** about Pot, but here we are, under this CBA

I'm not sure it was just pot, though. Mostly when athletes get caught up in this, it's because their financial adviser or someone close to them gives them very bad advice and either neglects to mention the legalities of of it, or downplay it
But it is what it is, ultimately he is responsible for doing the the wrong thing... but having seen Kendricks get drafted and spend years in Philly, im fairly familar with what sort of dude he is... and umm... he doesnt seem the "type" to be studying the stock market, making sly connections and pulling some proper white collar Bull

The eagles have give me a lot of memorable wins in my time as a fan... but i have never seen them get a gutsier win than this.
Unbelievable team performance. Wentz just strapping this team to his back and willing them to a victory

Pretty much ensured the division title. Now they get to be Week 1 roadkill.

1. Im still not convinced we'll beat the Giants. This eagles season has been a **** **** show... it would be capped wonderfully by losing to the giants and the cowboys getting in. This is a team that lost games to Atlanta, Miami and Detroit. It can lose to anyoneNorthern Raider wrote: ↑December 23, 2019, 12:42 pmPretty much ensured the division title. b) that home play off win... not feeling as roadkill-y anymore... it's almost certainly going to be Seattle, who lost their two RBs and LT today. Dallas or Philly could get them at home i think.... AND then they'll get waffle stomped by who ever they get next

As we predicted, LSU torched the **** out of the Sooners... the Tigers led 49-14 at half time, finished 63-28.Botman wrote:100% agreethe bone wrote: ↑December 9, 2019, 3:51 am College football playoffs are set:

My predictions: LSU will blowout OU and Clemson will beat OSU in a tight one... Clemson has had a much softer schedule so I can see them feeling fresher

I think LSU will handle OU pretty easily and i think Clemson is the best team in the country and the only reason they arent being considered as such is because the soft schedule.
I might be wrong
But i agree, LSU and Clemson going to the natty, and i think Clemson are going to win it
OSU and Clemson coming up in 15mins. My prediction hasn’t changed, Clemson in a tight one

Re: NFL Thread
That OSU Clemson game was incredible. I think the right team won in the end but gotta feel for OSU, they played their hearts out and if they punch that in at the end, they'd have been worthy winners.
Incredible game
The other game was just a Justin Jefferson/Joe Burrow draft day highlights tape... my lord.

The game from LSU certainly has me questioning my prediction of Clemson over LSU though!

LSU offense is on another level and don't think any college defense can hold them.

@Botman,
Wentz is down yet another target, his main guy, Ertz.
Can Wentz go 4 from 4 in the div with basically no targets?

Switch over to the eagles game guys, I’m suited up and am going in
That’s how horrific the injury situation is
This game they’ve lost another 3-4 starters

Whatever happens in the play offs, happens
This has been an outrageously gutsy and incredible Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz season
I have never been more convinced about these dudes being legit... they won the east with dudes who were stacking cans at the super market 4 months ago
Scott, Ward, Perkins... scrubs, the lot of em. All long odds to make the roster next year, and Wentz has carried them here with Dougy P
