Looking at the locks around the comp in Round 1 2012 Fensom was middle of the pack. I probably was too harsh on him, but if I have a choice between Fensom and 2015/16 Soliola at lock it's not really close.

Fensom's work rate in defence when he was here make him the stand-out choice.

I got the impression that he wasn't enough of a mongrel for Ricky's liking. When he did try to put in some niggle, he was so inept at it that he usually got penalised.
