I'm jumping on board the Storm in a tea cup this yr.
I wanna say fringe 8 this yr
This board could grow exponentially if we go from being the Raiders fan board to the "Raiders fans + NRL fans who not not wish good tidings for the Melbourne Storm" board...

Croft straight into the Bronx leadership group. Ill add that, a half in the leadership group is a MUST. Its the Quarterback theory. They guy driving the car needs to be the leader. BUT, the guy wasnt even in the building before he got the leadership call up. Went to Tassie with Boyd, Glenn, Lodge, TPJ, Carrigan and Haas.

Nothing like even more pressure for a guy wearing Langer's jersey. I would have waited to push him into that till at least next year, but maybe he demanded it.

Star Storm winger Suliasi Vunivalu signs on for rugby code switch

Nine News can reveal Melbourne Storm winger Suliasi Vunivalu will switch codes in 2021 to join the Queensland Reds on a two year deal.

The signing has not yet been confirmed by the Reds or Rugby Australia, but an announcement is expected in the next few hours.

Local resident Matt offered more comment on the signing: "I told yas the storm were done. Good riddins (sp). The only player I hate more than Suli is Curtis Scott".

The storm have about 3 quarters of the Comp beaten on game day on effort alone let alone talent on the park. They will be top 4 at a minimum. You’re way ahead of yourself buddy.

Just about every player on that list played below expectations in 2019. Looks like Bellamy is happy to let players go who he doesn't see as part of the core group that will take them forward.

That is possible, yes. However, they have also killed their depth in the process, which was one of their strengths.

Quite a few of those were on a lot more than 'depth' money. Even more notable that none of them were established NRL players until they joined Melbourne. Bellamy has a real knack for turning nobodies into somebodies.

Yes, but dont think those guys are nobodies. All the players they are losing will start at their new clubs - Walters is iffy, but only coz Tigpies have a dozen halves.

Drinkwater was the next Slater. What he has done in a short time at Storm and Cows proves he has the ability.
Croft was groomed to be the next Cronk. If you saw what he did in that club challenge game a couple of yrs ago, and what he has down in reserve grade, the kid can play.
Stimson was supposed to be the next Hoffman.
Walters is a legacy.
Scott, well he has a resume.
Vunivalu was a try scoring machine.
Kata was past it, as is Chambers, ok.

LOUD NOISES
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Reading they’ll only release him on compassionate grounds if they get a transfer fee, or swap a player of equal value.

Seems fair

Dogs really don't have a player the equal of JAC to swap.

I can’t really think of any Sydney clubs that has a JAC level player. Eels or Panthers maybe
