Hail Papa

Post by LastRaider »

How good is he? 55 minute stint in the most physical game of the year, 10 minute break then straight back into it and single handedly crashes through 4 defenders and scores the match winner.

Raiders 2019 player of the year, has to be NRL front rower of the year.... is there anything else to say!

Love you Papa
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

I think so. Lazzo was an amazing player but Papa is utterly dominant.

I said to my father after Papa scored that he is getting very very close to Lazo levels.

Next week should seal it.

I think he has passed lazzo, more mobile for roughly the same body size, it’s like he is running with spiders on him no one can put him down one on one and even when they get 4 on him he gets a pass away to hodgo

I think he has passed Lazo when you consider his entire career in the forwards from second row to lock to Front Row. I think he is now level with Bradley Clyde

When does the NRL decide if he is charged?

Also what are the priors he has?

If think worst case it's a grade 1 careless which is a $1500 fine but who knows.

Is this actual?

Also. Im only 30 so don't really know many individual performances before 1995ish

Was that the best ever Raiders individual performance?

It's the best I remember.

I mean there are heaps of club game performances which are better if you ignore the context. Campo Vs Panthers being an obvious example.

I think in terms of context of the game it's right up there in the argument for best, but there were some legendary performances over the years. Clyde in 89 is one that comes to mind.

Monday Buzz: NRL’s best player isn’t James Tedesco or Cameron Smith

“I honestly believe Josh Papalii is the best player in the competition,” Stuart said.
