I am so nervous.

I was born the year after the Raiders last premiership. Never enjoyed a game as big as this one tonight supporting this team.

The buzz around the place is awesome- work today is Green day. Everyone decked out in green, green food everywhere. Green Machine song playing.

C'mon you wonderful Raiders specimens! You have the whole town behind you

Today is already overwhelming. There are green jumpers everywhere. Entire school assemblies doing the Viking Clap. Social media rammed with Raiders posts and well wishes. Just a general buzz out and about and at work. I said it weeks ago when we played Melbourne, it is days like this that make it all worthwhile.

I love it when the town gets right behind them, experiencing all the bad times makes days like today super emotional. I'll be thinking of my fellow GH users today and tonight, when all is said and done we're all the diehards in it together every week and I hope every one of you on here that shares this journey together every season gets the performance and result they deserve tonight. All the best green family.

I am with you mate. Will always be an Essendon supporter first but jumped on board with the Giants from day 1 as a foundation member. Going to Melb tomorrow. Will be wearing the hat Sheeds gave me when they were still in the NEAFL.

Weekends don’t come any bigger.
