I had to buy 4 seats together yesterday and couldn't get seats in Raiders section or the two bays above it. I'm in Bay 72. Hope there's plenty of Raiders fans there too.

40% should be enough to get us over the line! It’s clearly obvious that the raiders away fans are far superior to the home ones.

"Without intimidation nobody will fear you": Canberra Raiders centre Joey Leilua won’t change after knee ban

"If you don’t bring intimidation then nobody is going to fear you. It’s about controlled aggression but you’ve got to make sure they know you’re there."

That’s the message from Canberra star Joey Leilua who returns from suspension on Saturday for a blockbuster NRL qualifying final against Melbourne.

It might help if someone carefully explained to Joey what "controlled aggression" is. Maybe then he would change his style just a little.

I agree with bj in regards to keeping his aggression. However i think we can all agree after all this time that he doesnt have the capacity to maintain the balance between discipline and aggression on the field for a long period of time (1+ years).

I reckon beej has been good on the controlled aggression this year. Just he can’t help himself against manly. Maybe he needs some sports psychologist there

But please for the next month keep the insanity to a minimum joey

To be fair on Joey, the Manly player was a mile offside, so the knees in the back didn't really happen.

Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart will have coffee with Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy on Friday... but it will be all business on Saturday

No topic will be off limits when Craig Bellamy catches up with Ricky Stuart for a coffee before Saturday's qualifying final in Melbourne but don't expect the coaches to get nasty with each other.

A couple of things if I may.
Our attack looks disjointed. And recently we have let teams score too much.
We have kept 3 teams scoreless this year while our attack was non existent basically.
We are in a good position, but. We haven't really put in a full masterclass this year and our f/a loses a Matt's match up over the last month.

Not being a nego, just think we have another 2 gears in our side and haven't seen it yet, while still getting to where we are, it is glorious. Ken oath we have the team to win this.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. This team has shown glimpses of its potential, but that's about it.

Basically our entire backline, bar CNK and Wighton, have consistently played below their best this season. Our three quarters have been arguably our biggest asset over the past 2-3 years, but this year they have been quite average.

It has been a good year for us, but entirely frustrating for me at the same time.

We can absolutely beat this Melbourne team. The fact we got them last time despite playing arguably the worst 25 minutes of football to start the game says a bit.

We just can't afford to start the game like that again. I do fear that our boys get a bit overawed on the big stage, or with the weight of expectation on them.

That is objectively a **** miserable bit of work from the NRL.

If there is a hint of controversy in the decisions, the optics of that are going to be terrible. And it's just not needed, sent Norrie to Sydney if you feel he's a **** off video ref... just a totally unnecessary and avoidable issue

Finals rookie Canberra Raiders winger Nick Cotric keen to add NRL title to enviable resume

He's done more in his 67 NRL games than most players manage to fit into an entire career and Nick Cotric knows Canberra are just three good games away from their ultimate goal.

"It's been a pretty crazy season but I'm just excited now. Given where are on the ladder and what we've done as a team I can’t wait to get out there, I'm raring to go. Finals footy I've never been a part of it, so I can't wait."

You can legally tackle as hard as you want BJ and that is intimidating. Knees in the back are not intimidating they are the tools of thugs and dumb footballers. So are face rakes and hair pulling and anything else beyond the rule book. If intimidating is about other ways to win a match, illegal plays are a dumb way to lose a match.

We have both loose cannons back into the side this week. BJ and Tapine can play as hard as they like within the rules. Why is that message so hard to understand for some players.

I'm in agreement the question is just whether we are able to find that extra gear right now - if we don't we may suffer a significant loss at the hands of Melbourne. If we do we could surprise them.

I'm not confident at all but it would be really special if we got up, and I do believe we have the ability

2019 Canberra Raiders better than 2016 team: Josh Papalii

Canberra enforcer Josh Papalii says the club is better positioned to end their premiership drought than their last NRL finals run in 2016.

"Our team has definitely matured from that 2016 season. We just have the core group a bit longer now and we're a bit more mature and I think we're finals ready now. We're four games away from the grand final and winning it is our goal."
