Klein

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Who cares really.
Wasn’t good enough to make their squad...hardly going to matter.
If Manly were not such a bogey side for Cronulla, you’d be throwing your money at the Sharks.
For some reason, the Sharks struggle against Manly, no matter what the form guide looks like.

The facts are you aren't supposed to play players from outside the top 30. That's why they had to get special dispensation from the NRL.

Joey Leilua and Joe Tapine return for Canberra Raiders' NRL finals clash with Melbourne Storm

Joey Leilua is poised to play his third game in almost five months in a blockbuster finals clash, as the Canberra Raiders hope Hudson Young will avoid a suspension when he fronts the judiciary.

It's absolutely outrageous that Manly are doing this, I'm so angry!!

Imagine applying for special dispensation to use a player outside your 30!!

I’m just pointing out the facts. cat is correct... he was contracted to Blacktown, the Sea Eagles NSW Cup affiliate, he hasn't been playing for Manly, he didn't have an NRL contract.

Looking at all the final sides - has anyone switched camps and now happier to be playing the Storm, rather than the Roosters? I was already in that camp, but the named teams have confirmed it for me.

I was indifferent, we'd need to beat both to win anyway.

And potentially twice

I wanted to play the roosters, in Sydney. Ah well, we have to beat the Storm now, in Melbourne.

Man for man i honestly believe we have the superior side, regardless of Smiths standing in the game, i also reckon our bench rotation is better (even without Havili)

I agree. We have a much better team, they just play better as a team.

If we play at our best we'll win, but we need to start well.

I will be shocked if he plays, they just picked him to meet the 21 player requirement.
