The thing is though, the boys seem to be a pretty tight knit group. Seeing their mate deal with that won’t be good for their mentality.

You’re not reading rational.Azza wrote:No it isn't. I'm actually feeling pretty rational. We won't go far in this comp, I'm sorry to say. Happy to be proven wrong, but I won't be.
It is disappointing to lose that game. But the team fielded was more than capable of winning that game. The players blew it. The strategy was fine.
Result is a we go to Melbourne instead. I think Roosters was a slightly better option. But it’s not a huge amount in it. Not a lot really changed.
As Tay Tay would say. You need to calm down.

The Hudson thing won’t be a distraction because he deserves to go for a long long time for being a dog and also so stupid for not learning anything from the last time. He’s replaceable and I don’t think the media circus will effect the boys at all. If anything it’ll be good as people will be carrying on about that taking pressure off the rest of the team.

I would be happy for Lui to sit out next week for Guler. Also Cotric out for BJ and Simonsson back to the wing.
Young will get his contract torn up to get him out of our colours I'm hoping.

That game was **** garbage. I’m furious about that, and I haven’t said that too many times this season.
Re: 2019 Rd 25 V Warriors: Game Day
I’m not too worried to be honest. We get a fresh CNK, Bateman and Sia. I really do think Guler has earnt a bench spot over Lui.

Agree. Squad player at best.gangrenous wrote: ↑September 7, 2019, 5:01 pmWho cares? Our chances don’t ride on Hudson Young.Danaman137 wrote:I assume young will be sent straight to the judiciary. Not what we need going into week 1... what was going through his head? Can’t believe the stupidity.

Doubt that will impact much at all.
Won’t be a distraction. Everyone knows his 2019 is done. No doubt move on.
Shouldn’t be an issue for a team with a professional mentality.
All top 4 teams have been below par this weekend and the reality is each team had an eye on next weekend.

Train how you play boys.
Disgusting.
Disgusting.
Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel is just the train that's about to hit you.
Re: 2019 Rd 25 V Warriors: Game Day
The coach didnt care about this game, the club didnt care about this game, half the supporters didnt care about this game. Evidently the players didnt much care about it either. This result isnt indictive of anything other than, we didnt care about it.Azza wrote: ↑September 7, 2019, 5:03 pmWe won't, but let's see. I'm happy to be genuinely surprised... that was just very very soft today and we had 3rd spot up for grabs. Given the rubbish the rabbits have dished up it was ordinary on our part to finish behind them.PigRickman wrote: ↑September 7, 2019, 5:02 pmWhen we win the comp, maybe i willAzza wrote: ↑September 7, 2019, 5:01 pmJust buy some of my photos cheapskate.
The roosters also had a loss the other night, albeit against much better opposition, they were well off their game
So off to Melbourne we go, hopefully we dont spot them 18 points and 20 minutes against 12 men
Re: 2019 Rd 25 V Warriors: Game Day
Nup, I'm feeling plenty calm and rational. It was poor. Melbourne will be ready for us next week. We've made things inordinately hard on ourselves going into the finals on the back of that performance.gangrenous wrote: ↑September 7, 2019, 5:04 pmYou’re not reading rational.Azza wrote:No it isn't. Yeah, hopefully something clicks for him at some point but it looks doubtful.PigRickman wrote: ↑September 7, 2019, 5:04 pmIts disappointing that he's now left no doubt about the sort of player he is. And it's going to follow him the rest of his career. Rightfully so.
Re: 2019 Rd 25 V Warriors: Game Day
If Bateman and Klockstad play I reckon we get the job done.julian87 wrote: ↑September 7, 2019, 5:00 pmWe definitely didn’t rest our 2 best players?Lucky wrote: ↑September 7, 2019, 4:57 pm
Deadset.... Absolutely pathetic. Such a typical raiders thing to do.....
Hows that decision to rest our 2 best players looking now. ****. In hindsight it has single handedly derailed our season. Now we have to take on the cap rorters in melbourne of which we have a 22% winning record against.....
Ill disciplined garbage today, ESPECIALLY from Lui.... we play like that next week and the storm put 40 on us....
Re: 2019 Rd 25 V Warriors: Game Day
Would not waste a single ounce of energy on Hudson Young this week. He was never playing next week anyway, with Tapine back.
Take the guilty plea and focus on next weeks game.
People are forgetting we have a better record against Melbourne this year than the Roosters. It’s not all doom and gloom.

Will we be premiership favourites after we roll Storm in Melbourne next week? I’m calling it. We will do it in style.
Re: 2019 Rd 25 V Warriors: Game Day
We've got Melbourne away and after that game will either have a home prelim or home semi.
New season begins now. 3 more wins to chalk up.

There were a few on here that were OK with a loss today.
We should have won that..

Would Melbourne have treated that game with the contempt we did?

I'd definitely limit the media opportunities as much as possible. It will be all about Young.Peter wrote: ↑September 7, 2019, 5:07 pm Would not waste a single ounce of energy on Hudson Young this week. He was never playing next week anyway, with Tapine back.

As I have said before - Guler has played NSW all through his juniors. He is a quality player. I think he earns a spot ahead of Lui today.

Hudson young has just become the Luis Suarez of the NRL. Clearly needs some professional help. We'd be lucky to see him playing again by mid season 2020.

The biggest concern for me has been our home form.
At some stage in the finals we’ll need to deliver a big result at home.

Lui had an absolute howler. But I’m not sure one good game gets you the finals spot over a good season.TongueFTW wrote:As I have said before - Guler has played NSW all through his juniors. He is a quality player. I think he earns a spot ahead of Lui today.
