Have you not been paying attention? The AFL does hate us!
Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
What you need to know about buying Canberra Raiders finals tickets
This is the ticketing process for weeks 1-3 of the finals series:
Monday 10am leading into match: Ticketed Members – Members Prices (NB: Our venue is not offering same seat purchase opportunity)
Monday 1pm leading into match: Non-Ticketed Members and Telstra Plus – Presale Prices
Monday 4pm leading into match: NRL.com/PlayNRL/Partners/Media Partners/ - Presale Prices
Tuesday 10am leading into match: General public sales commence
For all 2019 NRL Finals events, club members will be required to use priority codes to access tickets during the pre-sale window each week. Advice will be sent by email to members on Sunday evening. Club Members can buy up to 8 tickets per transaction.

If we're playing the Roosters you'll have to get in quick as their 28 members will snap up their allocation immediately

Does that mean you cannot sit in your regular season members seat?

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
Correct, and we haven't been able to for quite a while. The NRL takes the best seats for their sponsors etc... they are responsible for the ticketing. It is irritating that the loyal members are not treated better.dopplerradar wrote: ↑September 6, 2019, 4:28 pm Does that mean you cannot sit in your regular season members seat?

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Damn! I bought the away supporter membership this year as I was sure this allowed to purchase finals tickets at the opening. I usually have purchased the away Flexi but usually end up buying tickets to the away game I go to in order to get better tickets.

Got my tickets, nervous as but very excited. Come on boys!
Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
Appears they are selling the worst seats first... and giving Storm members first dibs on their seats. The NRL isn’t doing that for us at a Canberra Stadium final.

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
I'm pretty happy with mine, section 7 with a decent view. I'm going with a mate who's a storm fan, otherwise I'd be in with the Raiders supporters

How did you get a good seat if you're not a Storm member??raider dos wrote: ↑September 9, 2019, 11:19 amI'm pretty happy with mine, section 7 with a decent view. I'm going with a mate who's a storm fan, otherwise I'd be in with the Raiders supporters

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
Seems like away flexi members don't get the early release? Got the email with a code but when entered into ticketek, I'm getting the "some passwords are not valid" error message.

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
It's not technically a ticketed membership (assigned seat), as you get provided with a "comp" ticket for the games you chooseTurbo_Raider wrote:Seems like away flexi members don't get the early release? Presale for those memberships starts at 1.

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
Sigh... thanks mate. Had a feeling that would be the case... Doubt it'll be a sellout given the fanbase in Melbs but would love to still grab a seat in the Raiders bay-TW- wrote: ↑September 9, 2019, 11:34 amIt's not technically a ticketed membership (assigned seat), as you get provided with a "comp" ticket for the games you chooseTurbo_Raider wrote:Seems like away flexi members don't get the early release? Interesting. I was lead to believe that the good seats only went to Storm members... seems that's perhaps not the case after all.raider dos wrote: ↑September 9, 2019, 12:00 pmDunno mate, luck of the draw I guess. The Rickman wrote: ↑September 9, 2019, 11:22 amHow did you get a good seat if you're not a Storm member??raider dos wrote: ↑September 9, 2019, 11:19 amI'm pretty happy with mine, section 7 with a decent view. Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
That sux. I always get the 3 game flexi membership so I qualify as a ticketed member even though I don't use the tickets. Be nice if this was made clear at time of purchase.-TW- wrote: ↑September 9, 2019, 11:34 amIt's not technically a ticketed membership (assigned seat), as you get provided with a "comp" ticket for the games you chooseTurbo_Raider wrote:Seems like away flexi members don't get the early release? They're forcing you to sit on the eastern side at present... preferred seating is on the western side.

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
How so? Less side line obstructions from team staff and officials? Maybe the sun I suppose but that won't be a problem come kick off. Or at all probably, it is Melbourne.

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
Raiders fan zone exhausted
Ended up in section 12 - close enough. Eastern side is great, closer to our fans - how is that a bad thing...
Forecast is for sun but it is Melbourne so who knows!

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
No I don't think so. The NRL's loyal members are being given "pre-sale"... but they don't care enough to allow them to purchased their preferred tickets. It's not so hard... or unreasonable... is it? No, it's not.The Rickman wrote: ↑September 9, 2019, 12:51 pmGod, you'd complain about winning the lotto, wouldn't you??

NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
You’re complaining about sitting in the eastern stand vs the western stand!! That’s akin to complaining about the East Stand vs the Meninga Stand at Bruce!!greeneyed wrote:No I don't think so. And FTR, I was at AAMI Park a few weeks ago, they’re BOTH good stands
You’d think you could be a bit more responsible. There’s those who would log onto this forum looking for guidance in matters such as this from guys such as you
