69th min Will Chambers sin binned, high contact. Looked more like a head clash. That's a dodgy call.

Wow, 10 in the bin. Wasn't even sure it warranted a penalty.

It’s obvious intent, tackled the bloke around the head.

Obvious sin bin these days.

No surprise Cummins is the referee. Every head high better be binned after that

73rd min TRY STORM to Ryan Papenhuyzen out wide, just great speed running for the corner. Storm score despite playing with just 12 men against 13. Cameron Smith converts from the sideline.

78th min TRY STORM to Justin Olam, he gets a hat trick. The bunker says "yes" to an obvious try. Off a rebounded kick from Papenhuyzen. Cameron Smith converts.

Storm 36-6

Hahaha, rubbish. It was an aggressive tackle but there was barely contact with the head of any. The guy hurt his leg.

Jeez that’s a massive result for us. We should pick up another win if not tomorrow then against the Warriors. We deserve to finish in the top 4 this year.

If we end up playing a final at the SCG, I’ll probably go, but watch it on my phone. Might make it feel like your actually at the same ground as the game...

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

That’s a shocking decision.

If you’re not going to attempt a tackle you weren’t obstructed

Was a simple case that if he tried to make the tackle he would have got him no problem. Don't think coach would have been too happy with the effort (or lack of)

That should be a try, in terms of “was the defender actually obstructed” (no he wasn’t).

But I just can’t help but feel the NRL would totally **** it up if they changed the rules/left the video ref with discretion on obstructions.

There’d be absolute chaos.
