Anyone see CNK’s Instagram Story and the results of “cupping” massage today. Surely that can’t be good for you!

I’ve had cupping after some big races and it looks like you’ve spent the day at paintball - the bruising is huge. The idea is it draws the blood to the surface, like a bruise.
You should see what scraping does.....

I don’t understand why you’d do that two days before a game though. I accept I probably just don’t understand the science.Coastalraider wrote: ↑August 30, 2019, 10:45 pmI’ve had cupping after some big races and it looks like you’ve spent the day at paintball - the bruising is huge. It’s basically a different type of massage. Massage cycles blood through the muscles clearing toxins, so does cupping. It’s just that cupping looks bloody ordinary!!greeneyed wrote: ↑August 30, 2019, 10:52 pmI don’t understand why you’d do that two days before a game though. Cupping, deep needling, scrapping etc focuses healing, each type has different benefits depending on the muscle injury or fatigue.
I’ve had all of them done for different muscle problems caused by rock climbing, each has it’s benefit and some are only used for specific circumstances. For example used needling to correct a muscle knot that would not respond to deep massage or cupping, the knot was in my bicep and was a result of a shoulder reco.
My daughter who does elite gymnastics gets cupping done once a fortnight due to general muscle fatigue and soreness, it speeds up recovery.

I’ve never tried cupping but I don’t mind a bit of spooning. I usually don’t bruise up too badly afterwards.

Our two biggest liabilities as far as penalties, sin-binning or send-offs as far as I'm concerned are gone for crucial matches against Sharks and Warriors. Just thinking about it makes me feel more relaxed.Billy Walker wrote: ↑August 30, 2019, 11:35 amI think you may be right Azza. Better Tarps has a brain explosion against Storm and BJ and others get sucked in by Manly now than in week 2 of finals. People talk about ‘the loss you had to have’ - hopefully that was it. If we get up over Sharks and touch up the warriors we will be in a sweet place.
I'd say Young and Horsburgh have worked out that **** doesn't fly at NRL level and now cop it on the chin.
Some people talk about the weather. Others do something about it.

Not saying we'll definitely win, that'd be silly but gee the sharks are half as good as some on here think they are.

Yeah. I keep hearing that. How 'dangerous' they are. I don't see it in their performances though. Their edge defence is very poor, lock in Crokes or Cotric for a double. They make a lot of errors too they'll give us plenty of chances.GreenMachine wrote: ↑August 31, 2019, 1:29 pmMate I don’t know about that.
For me, they are the most dangerous team in the bottom 4.
They are more dangerous than Manly IMO.

This game terrifies me. It's likely to be an awful spectacle.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Matt Moylan ruled out. Terrible news. They're definitely a better side with Dugan fb.

How the Canberra Raiders are helping people to emulate heroes through disability rugby league
The Score Raiders will lock horns with their St George Illawarra counterparts at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday. Canberra Region Rugby League chief Mark Vergano says the form of two-handed touch is providing a platform for people with disability to play the game they love that for so long has not been there.
"The Raiders under 20s link allows the young men and women to get closer to the Raiders, and they absolutely love the thought of that," Vergano said.

If We beat the sharks tomorrow , and unless the roosters rest players next week, we finish 3rd. We have been the 3rd best team in 2019 so id say it's fitting

Yeah, I had a look through. I couldn’t see the result but Ricky looked relaxed during the post match presser.

Manly losing means we are one step closer to the 4th. Had no problem smiling every time Melbourne scored.

Looks like the teams around us are copping a few injuries. Tommy T looks like he’s done for the season. Munster and Brett Morris, Tukeaho all look sore.

If the refereeing so far this weekend is any indication, we’re stuffed.

Why would the nrl be doing their best to send out the player who has lost the most games in history? The game doesnt love gallen. Ridiculous and unfounded take
Dont delete this GE
