If Fifita is on their bench come kick off I'd be tempted to swap Lui and Sia.

Canberra Raiders rookie Hudson Young determined to shine in NRL finals bid
Canberra Raiders rookie Hudson Young is hell-bent on avoiding the heartache of giving up his place in NRL as he looks to shine in a finals audition.
"I'm very keen. I don't want to give up my jumper again, I'm very proud to be in this team," Young said. "To give it up like last time, I don't want that to happen again. It felt really good to be back in first grade.

The Run Home: How your NRL club sits, and where they will finish the 2019 season
3 CANBERRA RAIDERS (30 points, 153+/-)
Formline (most recent first): LWLWW
Remaining games: Sharks (A), Warriors (H)
Key injuries: Brad Abbey (season), Joey Leilua (suspension)
Analysis: After their emphatic win over the Storm, the Raiders’ chance to lock up third spot against Manly took a knock against the Sea Eagles. They still can do that, but they will need to win their last two. The contingency plan working in their favour is that Souths and Manly must play the Roosters and Storm respectively which could cost both sides points.
Predicted run home: WW
Predicted finish: 3rd (34 points)

Canberra Raiders (3rd, 30 points)
Best finish: 2nd
Worst finish: 6th
Run home: Sharks, Warriors
The Raiders' narrow loss to the Sea Eagles puts a dent in their top-two aspirations and sends them back into a bit of a log-jam. The Green Machine are now in a similar boat to the Sea Eagles and Rabbitohs, pushing for a top-four berth. They could effectively get back on track, and deliver a blow to the Sharks' hopes in the process, with a win this weekend in the Shire.

Jack puts up a spiral bomb which Dugan catches and a 'Jack Smash tackle dislodged the ball FOR JC to score. Raiders fan go wild.

Whatever the case, Klein owes us big time for the stuff ups against Manly. Im expecting good things from the bunker!kona_dream wrote: ↑August 27, 2019, 4:37 pm Ashley Klien in the Bunker. Is this a demotion or do they rotate these in and out?
My take on the game is that the expectations will be high for a Sharks win -so high that they are going to overplay their hand, while we remain calm and ruthless, controlled and calculating. We will put them to the sword!!
Re: 2019 Rd 24 V Sharks: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*
I swear Gerard Sutton was the referee in the match last year we played the Sharks at Shark park and he awarded that controversial try to them when the touch judge put his flag up. Why the #### would they give him this game to ref? As we all know he has had an agenda against us all year he has been the lead referee in our games. We are screwed boys and girls.

You can pretty much be guaranteed to pick his 17 player for player most games this season, it hasn't been the case in years gone by.

Raiders 1-12 is my call
Re: 2019 Rd 24 V Sharks: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*
Last week we went away from what has been working all season which has been controlling the ball, building pressure and creating some good opportunities when attacking the line. Last week we tried to score off every play, and turned the ball over on tackle 1 a number of times and then let Manly suck us into their game.
The one lesson this team needs to learn is that to win we need to play our brand of football and when we stick to it, it is good enough to win us any game.
I am confident that we can go back to our strengths and grind out a win under very tough conditions and all but lock up 3rd on the ladder.
I also think that Gallen in his last home game will be a major problem for the sharks as he tries to do way too much and get's in the way with 4th tackle hit ups. It's basically his MO at every level and the big stage brings out the worst in him by far.

Origin readies Nick Cotric for Canberra Raiders finals run
Finals experience is a rare commodity for some players in Canberra, but Nick Cotric is hoping his first stint as a State of Origin player earlier this season has prepared him mentally for the play-off pressure cooker.
"A big crowd like that, it's a high-pressure game and it's going to be a big learning curve for me and a few of the boys who haven't played finals yet, it just gives us a taste of what's to come," Cotric said.

Bailey Simonsson ready to turn Canberra Raiders trial into an NRL finals mission
Bailey Simonsson has vowed to make the most of his unexpected finals audition as he prepares to be thrust into a Shark Park pressure cooker on Sunday afternoon.
"When I got here it was a trial and train deal, then I got moved to the development squad and eventual the top 30. I had a desire and an opportunity to train. So yeah, this does make it all worth it.
