Should just keep giving away goal line offsides

Are both teams showing poor discipline or are refs playing for a finals appearance?

I feel like Raiders are leaving this half about 8 points short

I feel like we were a 12 point better team that half and we will go in 4 points ahead

This reffing is disgusting.

Manly worked out how to counter the strip. Wait for ref to call held then let go of it.

They've struggled. Not up to the standard needed.

Not sure what to think about that half.
This amount of penalties ruins rugby league.

That was the longest half of league ever. So stop-start.

Not the score board we deserved but that is a pretty solid half of footy. Sia and Papa were massive up from and Jack and Croker excellent. If we can get Bateman, Hodgo and a few others into the game we should close this one out.

It’s almost like they are trying to stake a claim for a whistle in the finals!
Re: 2019 Rd 23 V Sea Eagles: Game Day
Not sure why that Wighton break wasn't given a try. Seen worse than that awarded.
Manly trying to spoil us in the ruck as much as possible. Our guys are staying focused and not losing patience though.

I’m glad you mentioned the Wighton try that was given no try....I cannot for the life of me understand how that was not called a try.
Klein again.
Re: 2019 Rd 23 V Sea Eagles: Game Day
Yeah the reffing is ordinary, for both teams. We can't let it upset us or spoil our rhythm. Fingers crossed. Not much in this. Tense.

Re: 2019 Rd 23 V Sea Eagles: Game Day
I like how we're going. The effort is overcoming the lack of continuity. Impressed with our 3 middles. Sia, Paps and Sutton.
Manly jamming in on our halves is causing some issues. Looks like the players are trying to find ways around it. Hopefully once they find the key they will out a few tries on.

We really need to keep our heads in this 2nd half. The refereeing is a joke today. Klein is bottom 3, hate when we get him. Give us the chick ref next week - who incidentally is my wife's cousin.

Not that we'll ever know but if it was sent up as a Try would it have been overturned?

Re: 2019 Rd 23 V Sea Eagles: Game Day
9 to 7 penalties... Had a try somehow called no try (you can see he is holding the ball by its tip the entire time). All our penalties have been earned, half of theirs are total Bull.. They drip the ball, penalty against us.... Penalised with the ball because of a **** play the ball yet half of theirs have been tunnel ball with no calls against them... Just garbage... Are these the best ref's we can find for 3rd vs 4th on one of the FTA games?

Re: 2019 Rd 23 V Sea Eagles: Game Day
No. Case in point - Croker try v Storm last week. Both were 100% tries.Northern Raider wrote: ↑August 25, 2019, 5:01 pmNot that we'll ever know but if it was sent up as a Try would it have been overturned?
Re: 2019 Rd 23 V Sea Eagles: Game Day
Our defence has been solid. Just need to be a bit more patient with the ball and look to build pressure. It’s orettt clear that whoever has the ball will get penalties so repeat sets are a great option!

You’d hope so. That was the correct call imo.Northern Raider wrote:Not that we'll ever know but if it was sent up as a Try would it have been overturned?
I think the in play refereeing has been poor. Feels like they’ve been pretty well mandatory penalties for the Raiders, with some sketchy ones against to stop the count blowing out.
