Jeff Lima played 9 games for us.

This is more like it IMOjulian87 wrote:Things I don’t like about your team Bay. Players out of position. Austin was always five-eighth and Ferguson was pretty much always centre for us. And Brett White was a good bloke, but stunk as a player for us.
I also don’t think Campese makes the team. He was pretty much cooked after his original acl injury and those 4 or so years after were just a really depressing time for the club as a supporter.

I wasn’t actually serious, but Lima did play pretty well in the majority of those 9 games.
And here I go...
The 2000 - 2009 team would give it a run.The Rickman wrote: ↑August 21, 2019, 11:48 pm Good grief, Sean! Your team STINKS, and I think our current team would probably absolutely towel them up
I think, if anything, it shows how poor this decade has been for the club, easily the worst ten year period since a nine year old Rickman first donned the green
That would be worth watchingRoger Kenworthy wrote: ↑August 23, 2019, 2:26 pmThe 2000 - 2009 team would give it a run.The Rickman wrote: ↑August 21, 2019, 11:48 pm Good grief, Sean! Your team STINKS, and I think our current team would probably absolutely towel them up

I was struggling for names, esp in the backrow. We havent had too many outright stinking plodders, even if we have had a few below average players.-TW- wrote: ↑August 23, 2019, 2:47 pmJJ Collins? He's played one game..Matt wrote:And here I go...

2000-2009 wins because of its spine. 3 elite players Vs 1. I'd have Furner at second row and Toots at lock though. Toots was our best player and lock of the year playing there in 2000.Roger Kenworthy wrote: ↑August 23, 2019, 2:26 pmThe 2000 - 2009 team would give it a run.The Rickman wrote: ↑August 21, 2019, 11:48 pm Good grief, Sean! I think “worst of” teams are crap. All of those blokes worked hard to earn a green jersey. I reckon we should have a bit of respect for them.Matt wrote: ↑August 23, 2019, 2:24 pmAnd here I go...

Yeah it was off the top of my head - your backrow is definitely better.edwahu wrote: ↑August 23, 2019, 4:31 pm2000-2009 wins because of its spine. 3 elite players Vs 1. There is no way, no way Pelo is making the worst team, unless it’s a most underrated team of the decadeMatt wrote:And here I go...

Agree with this. Most of these guys bust themselves and sacrifice a lot more than people realise for the chance to pull on a green jumper. I think it's hugely disrespectful to bag some of these guys just because they weren't able to excel at the top level.
Hear hear, couldn't agree more, old mateBay53 wrote: ↑August 23, 2019, 7:01 pmI think “worst of” teams are crap. All of those blokes worked hard to earn a green jersey. I reckon we should have a bit of respect for them.Matt wrote: ↑August 23, 2019, 2:24 pmAnd here I go...

Jimmy Stuart was at the Forever Green reunion the other week. Recognised the face but couldn’t put a name to it.
