Is it Gold Coasts plan to just keep picking the same team and losing?
Re: 2019 NRL Round 22 - Teams and Game Day

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

The Dylan Walker 'women of league' game tonight. Should be a belter of a game.

Manly only need 4 straight penalties to score a try

Stupid Tigers. Got my hopes up and then went into the sheds 7 minutes before half time

Re: 2019 NRL Round 22 - Teams and Game Day
Wests got 2 penalties the whole game and none in the second half. Manly got 8.
Guaranteed that count would be reversed if played at Leichhardt

Refs wearing Parramatta jerseys tonight.
Parra received some really soft penalties. Sivo drops a bomb but is awarded a penalty because one of the Titans players touched his knee while he was in the air.

That can’t be right, surely? Didn’t a whole lot worse happen last weekend and they gave the opposition a try?
Re: 2019 NRL Round 22 - Teams and Game Day
I have to admit I watched the first set and I realised the game was not worth watching. So I switched to Netflix. That’s how bad the Titans are.

Very blatant stiff arm to the head, good call ref

I think it was Peachey. Realised Sivo was in the air and deliberately pulled his hand away after touching him on the knee. Sivo dropped it cold and then they blew a penalty.greeneyed wrote:That can’t be right, surely? Didn’t a whole lot worse happen last weekend and they gave the opposition a try?

What an incompetent mob the Panthers are. A Broncos player in the bin, they don’t score a point and concede six.
Re: 2019 NRL Round 22 - Teams and Game Day
Didn’t see it, but sounds very strange given what happened last Sunday.gergreg wrote: ↑August 16, 2019, 8:12 pmI think it was Peachey. Re: 2019 NRL Round 22 - Teams and Game Day
This Turpin is a dirty little player isn’t he?
Re: 2019 NRL Round 22 - Teams and Game Day
I just watched that Turpin tackle again at half time. That was the stiffest of stiff arms you'll ever see, and he deliberately went down on the ground to get him in the head. He should be suspended for a very long time.
Re: 2019 NRL Round 22 - Teams and Game Day
Gee that was poor defence from the Panthers out wide. Mansour.
Re: 2019 NRL Round 22 - Teams and Game Day
Gee the Panthers’ left side defence is poor.

That dirty little Turpin shouldn't even be on the field! And now they can't handle Haas.
Re: 2019 NRL Round 22 - Teams and Game Day
Nice run from the young fella. I hate them with a pashun, but Haas is a great young talent along with a few others.

Calssic stupid play by TPJ. Game was over and he goes and puts the crusher on Maloney. He might have a couple of weeks on the sideline to contemplate it.
