Don't get me wrong, I love me some Clydey.

But doesn't he run a local landscaping business. I'm not sure how that translates to big dollars in the bank for the NRL.

These days Clyde's a general manager at technology company Chandler. They're big in digital solutions in the finance sector.

Well there you go. Go Clydey.

There seems to be a lot of old players appointed to positions in clubs, and I'm never sure of their qualifications. Matt Gidley at Newcastle. Steve Price at the bulldogs. You could argue Don Furner. Maybe they got their on their merits, but I'd prefer the best person for the job, not the best old boy.

Clyde works as an Executive for Chandler. He’s got ‘Friends’ in high places.

Even I groan at that one.

I'd like to see David Schwimmer running the game personally.

Couldn’t do a worse job and at least has some experience dealing with the media.
