Correct call IMO.
It was the only call they could make
He doesnt play at the footy at all, he goes right at the man, and makes high contact. Has to be a sin bin
And changed his line.
I'll have to check a replay, but it looked like his head bounced off the other Knights player (Ramien ?), then into Ponga, then bounces on the ground. He didn't look in a good way at all.

Yep, he realised he couldnt get to the ball first so went to the man, which is a penalty. And then his contact was high and knocked the player out. That's absolutely a sin bin. And tbh he should be looking at MRC charge for the hit.

That was diabolical for the Dragons but you're not allowed to take a quick penalty tap, or 20m tap if a player is in front of you.... oh Gus is talking about it now

Have the Bunnies been on the wrong side of a penalty count all year? They can do no wrong

I find it hard to believe they've been so disciplined to not conceed a penalty for 55 minutes

Wow what a play.

Dragons try.

McInness charge down after a Reynolds field goal attempt and he gets to the ball first. They spread the ball on the next play and Saab grabs a double.

Unbelievable play from McInness. Hugely inspiring stuff.

Widdop nails the conversion. It's 14 all, somehow.

That last replay is going to be VERY tough for the officials to justify.

I think they let the clock run for 30 or 45 seconds and then stop it. Not sure exactly which it is but there is a set time.

And not one commentator mentions the forward pass. As gutless as the officials

Souths lovefest continues. Are people scared of Bennett or what's the deal?

They do... but the NRL will appropriately be under huge pressure for such a horrible officiating error.

Meh, I've seen plenty worse. Broncos get a try off worse forward passes every second week. Saints were awful and didn't deserve to win but then weren't desperate enough when it mattered.

It would have been better for us if they lose, but souths should have lost the last 2 games and it builds a false sense of confidence in them - and isn't great for their side.
