And it was the top 3 all gone for 1 run each, not much wag in this Indian tail, kiwis did exactly what they need to. It’s on Pant n Dohni probably

I haven’t paid much (any) attention to the kiwis, Boult n Henry have done a job, kiwis got much else on offer with the bowlers?

I (thought) I read they’d made 5 or 6 semis but never a final in a World Cup

Edit: old man, failing memory, epic fail

Very strange rule to have a one-dayer over two days. Like I said earlier the conditions can be completely different from one day to the next.

C'mon the kiwis.

Yeah but I don't think that's been at play here. The pitch was tough to bat on both days and I'm sure if India had the choice they would have taken chasing 250 odd.

NZ deserve this, but atm India are 6 down and looking to stage a comeback

That run out was probably the play of the tournament. England and Australia - win and you are in the box seat for the world cup now. NZ have been great today but can't see them doing this twice unless the pitch is like this in the final

Yep, I think they did. They copped criticism for the way they batted but it was unjustified, in hindsight.

On that pitch Australia may have dodged a bullet not playing in that semi

Two great games tonight. India with a 200 Times larger population than NZ, but can’t do it.

What a throw by Guptil to run out Dohni.

Yep. Did the damage early on and were on top from that point. India gave themselves a chance but never really looked like getting the runs.

Boult and Williamson have been the entire team this WC.
Stop Williamson, NZ dont have enough runs in them.
Avoid Boult wickets, you can probably get at the rest.

I dont mind this, BUT...

Wade has been killing it at the top of the order opening the batting. Hard to slot him in at 4. Not sure that would work, not convinced it wouldnt though.
The other thing is, this looks like us trying to stack out team with ball strikers, to combat the ball striking in the Pommy side.

I actually dont mind Handscomb coming in for Uzi. Coz its like for like batting style.

Its a tough call for Langer to make.

I was a little off the mark with my burning effigies of David Warner. They are burning Indian team posters instead.

Surprised they didn't put Wade in for stoinis or Maxwell... Guess you don't want to chop and change too much in a semi final
