Astounded Klemmer has been overlooked. He was NSW best in game 1. Only missed game 2 due to injury. You feel he's been penalised for the performance of his teammates.

Yup, I’m surprised by it too, to be perfectly honest.

NSW cutting it's nose off to spite its face there
Loyalty with a winning team over a clearly superior player, almost QLD like.

Not that i think it'll matter. Origin is often promoted as a competition determined by "desire!" and "origin plays!" and "who wants it more!"
It's flatly untrue, home teams a lot and especially home teams with a better 1-6-7-9

The loss of Ponga tips the scales.

I had the exact same thought! The bloke is never going to be short of employment, if he doesn’t crack it in the NRL he already has a name that will unlock doors in the adult movie world.

Tariq Sims found guilty, will miss Origin III

NSW forward Tariq Sims will miss the State of Origin decider at ANZ Stadium next week after failing in a bid to clear himself of a dangerous contact charge at the NRL judiciary on Tuesday night.

Really? I would have thought leaving Klemmer out was a shocker.
It's not like with Latrell where he put in a poor performance with a bad attitude. Klemmer has been killing it.

:roflmao The sun has got to you or have you already forgotten Dylan Napa and Jarrod Wallace. Who?? You know, 2 of the blokes that represented Qld in SOO2 in 2019. Napa was in both SOO1 and SOO2. Unfortunate Ponga won't be able to play - as a fan of rugby league I sure enjoy watching his skill level.

The Qld mantra about 'pick and stick' is shown to be the rubbish it always was. Fact is, if a side doesn't do the job expected of it then changes will be made. Welcome back to reality.

I think Qld will be super motivated for SOO3. Should be a torrid clash.

You genuinely don't understand this, do you?? Ofengahue comes back into the side after missing Game 2 with injury, for either Wallace or Napa (you pick, I don't really care). That leaves the only other change to be the one getting dropped.

That's ONE player dropped after a thirty point flogging... haha you don't get more settled that that, pal.

Coincidentally, NSW have been completely Bull lucky with their selections in Games 2 and 3. Didn't want Maloney, wanted Pearce instead, he rules himself out with injury, Maloney is best player on the field, single-handedly wins Game 2 for NSW.

Then they don't want their best forward from Game 1, but luckily for them Sims gets suspended so they accidentally get the right player anyway. It's simply unbelievable stuff.

No, I'm looking at the lineups now and it looks like he made two changes, Slater and Ponga in, and Milford and Morgan out. I'm pretty sure Morgan was injured or he would've been the 14 for Game 2, and Slater was returning from injury.

So once again you guys seem to just be making up whatever you want to justify your narrative.

It absolutely is, just like Maloney was far superior to Walker/Pearce. Just sucks they keep accidentally getting there haha.

Hahaha it's honestly one of my favourite things about Origin is NSW's reaction to whether they win OR lose.

Both are equally entertaining.

I don't know if it's expected to be a wet or dry conditions, but if it's a wet track I think it could be a blessing in disguise for QLD to have Ponga unavailable, I think Munster/Norman would be better suited in the wet.
