31st min The Blues get six again... the Maroons are shot out wide... and Maloney throws a forward pass. No try for Addo Carr.

I enjoyed that
The wet weather is affecting both teams’ wingers Carr seems bogged down and Oates has definitely turned to porridge!

35th min TRY BLUES to Tom Trbojevic, after a huge run and fend from James Tedesco. Trbojevic gets a double. Converted from in front by James Maloney. The Maroons have had just over 40 per cent of the ball.

New South Wales 18
Queensland 6

Blues got this

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

If the Blues win it's in spite of their halves, not because of them

Similar to game 1. Maroons will lift their intensity in the 2nd half and the Blues need to match it.

NSW playing so much faster than QLD. The real difference is up the middle. Blues making a lot more yards in the middle 3rd. QLD far too sideways in these conditions.

Now let's see if NSW leave their effort in the sheds like they did last game.

Game 1 ?

Maloney is typical Maloney. Good for multiple errors, good for multiple crucial gun plays. Just need to defend his errors and Blues win.

Good half from Jack without much footy going his way. Great kick chase and defensive intensity.

Taking Chambers out was a dumb but in the heat of the moment these things are going to happen. Game 1 Mitchell would've stood there with his hands on hips while Chambers waltzed past him.

Agree with the forward pass no try, but Queensland were clearly offside on the play, forcing Maloney to throw the ball long.

Cleary has forced two turnovers and been rock solid in defence. Maloney has hit a 40:20 and the NSW attack has improved 10 fold from game 1. Not sure what Skater thinks they should be doing?

Blues dominating that half. Just need to watch the stupid errors and they should win from here

Cook should send the ball to Wightons wing a bit more too. He's barely had an early ball to work with all game.

I don’t think Morgan is a centre. Great in the halves but not think he offers much in the centres and is iffy in defence

Blues halves much better than last game. Few mistakes from Maloney but you'll get that with the amount he's trying.

Jack looking very sharp. I can't blame him too much for the penalty try, given no NSW player had a chance of getting there.

If they can the errors to a minimum NSW will win.
