Agreed - not deserving of test vice captaincy, but certainly a better bowling option than Stoinis.

Three games already washed out, what bright spark decided having the WC in England was a good idea

I don’t know what Australia do in this game. Unless they cut Stoinis from the squad they don’t have an all rounder.

It’s either Shaun Marsh in for Stoinis with 4 bowlers or elevate NCN and Carey which would be dangerous.

If they play the extra batsman I think they have to play 4 quicks as the 5th bowler becomes Maxwell/Smith.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Having the world cup in England was perfectly fine. Not having reserve days (even if it's being played at the same time as another match) was a dumb idea.

Good call. Every over bowled. Weak ending so far though post Warner. Pakis could chase it down

Terrible terrible finish. Too much stuffing around with the batting order for my liking.

We are really a quality fast bowler short. Is James Patterson’s injured? If not Coulter-Nile or Richardson needs to fake an injury so we can get him over there!

Who is James Patterson? Pattinson? Think he's been a bit short of a gallop with lots of injuries etc.

Jhye Richardson would have come in handy, but even a hazelwood would be an improvement.

Pattinson is made of tissue..

Has 3 or 4 really good games, gets on the cusp and then breaks down again

Harsh. He has had a fair run of injury recently, but when Cummins was going through similar he (Pattinson) strung a couple of good seasons together for the Australian team.

Deadset.... ANOTHER game abandoned due to poor weather.... this would have to be the worst world cup ever, and its all thanks to the trashy hole known as England...

It's great so long as our games don't get washed out (and we win).

Not in ODI cricket he doesn’t. He’s always been very ordinary in that format so it’s a really weird random name to be discussed imo.

Hazelsood is the puzzling omission. And the more I think about it, the more I think you’d just be better off stacking the batting with Faulkner at 8 and just having him as a defensive 3rd seamer rather than a second rate 3rd seamer. Although CA red lined him a while ago.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Not sure what happened to Faulkner he had real x factor.

Our batting has been very slow the last 3 matches

Are we done with Khawaja yet?

We only have room in the side for 1 dumb player and that slot is taken up by Maxwell.

Well to be fair he was probably our best batsman in 2019 up until this tournament so I think he's deserved a bit of leeway. one thing about him though is that his best and worst have a big gap.
