I don't think he is a great player by any stretch but really disappointing that a bloke like that doesn't finish his career as a one club player. I think when he looks back in 10 years time he'll regret this decision. It's really disappointing for me as a fan of our great club that some of our greatest players also finished their careers at other clubs so I can't even imagine what it's like for the players who bleed for the jersey feel.

Man - with Mautalino and Packer already on the books, it MOGHT make more sense to try and get some form out of them rather than signing Mannah on a 6 month contract...

They were talking about this on MMM over the weekend. Hoops was saying how Cleary paid massive overs on players, especially Mautalino and Packer, and how Madge is going to try and clear the decks to get the cap sorted out first.

So hearing that, the signing makes sense. He’s probably coming over lower than those two.

Josh Reynolds @ about $800k per year has played about 10 games for them. Still two more years after this year too.

Yeah I heard that MMM chat as well - I think their biggest issue is they are offloading players that no one wants. Mbye would be a good keep for them, but he is the only one realistically they could offload and have another team pick up the majority of his contract. They will be stuck with Packer and Reynolds.

I completely understand why Maguire would try to clean up that roster - but I cant see how Mannah actually helps if he is only on a 6 month contract. that is unless Packer/Mautalino are actually going to the Eels..

Packer and or Matulino will be more likely to go to the Panthers imo, they played under Cleary at the warriors and then followed him to the tigers....

There is a requirement for him to play a certain amount of games to be eligible for the ESL.

He won't meet that staying at Parra.

Wests Tigers veteran Robbie Farah has called time on his decorated career and will go out "on his terms" at the end of 2019.

The decision was been made four to five weeks ago in consultation with coach Michael Maguire but he had decided to wait until milestone games for himself and Benji Marshall were out of the way.

The Wests Tigers have released Ryan Matterson - who is bound for the Eels - and have medically retired Ben Matulino - giving the Tigers $1.5 million to spend next season. It comes after the recent departure of centre Esan Marsters to the North Queensland Cowboys.

The Tigers are reported to be targetting the Titans Jai Arrow and AJ Brimson and Dragons back Zac Lomax for 2021.

I would rather in game career ending injuries get a full payout. But some of the grey area retirements of late, should only get a 50% reduction on the cap.

Crazy we can lose Hodgson and Rapana to long term international game injuries, whilst other clubs are getting off scott free on the cap.

No, no, no, no, no

You were meant to say in response that Billy was funnier than me .. or something equally as cutting.

And I was meant to respond with 'harsh... but fair'

You're really messing with my routine here.
