Re: Canterbury Bulldogs 2019
Absolute joke. I'm all for taking a stance on bad player behaviour but only when said player has actually done something wrong. In most other circles when somebody has a private sex video made public they are regarded as the victim.

Re: Canterbury Bulldogs 2019
When does his contract end?
Seriously - with the amount of cap trouble that the Doggies are in, losing Foran off your books to a medical retirement would help them. He is wasting the biggest salary in the squad. Even on the odd occasion he actually gets to play a game, he isn't even close to justifying his wage.

End 2020
Re: Canterbury Bulldogs 2019
He'll probably milk it for all its worth too. Gotta be his last contract, in the NRL at least and hopefully no ESL side is stupid enough.

Well, there's no better way to celebrate getting your cap back under control than over-spending the whole thing on three players!greeneyed wrote: ↑October 24, 2019, 12:17 pm Canterbury Bulldogs set to launch $14m bid for Turbo brothers and Fifita

Literally 1/3 of their entire cap committed to 3 players....and only one is in the spine.

Exploratory surgery to dictate Kieran Foran's lay-off and whether Canterbury Bulldogs seek salary cap relief
Exploratory surgery on Kieran Foran's latest devastating shoulder injury will determine how much he misses of the 2020 season and whether Canterbury can apply for salary cap dispensation. He is likely to be out for at least six months.

I can't but feel that there is something very sad about the whole Foran story. I hope I am wrong.
Re: Canterbury Bulldogs 2019
Foran out for entire 2020 season
Reco op revealed more damage that he needs a second op for.
You'd think he's done, surely

Canterbury Bulldogs half Kieran Foran out for up to a year with shoulder injury
Kieran Foran could miss the entire 2020 season due to newly discovered damage to his shoulder. Foran underwent exploratory surgery on Tuesday, knowing he faced six months on the sideline, but his rotator cuff also requires a cleanout, which will require at least nine months if not the best part of a year's recovery.

Re: Canterbury Bulldogs 2019
Aiden Sezer come on down. But seriously Foran needs to retire. I actually think he might make a decent coach. At one point he was arguably the best 5/8 in the game.
