Losing a former No. 1 ticket holder and a premiership winning forward in the one week... it will be emotional tonight.

Wonder if they will do 2 separate minute silences or combined.
RIP both of them

Any news on whether Reynolds is playing for Souths?
Surely Wayne it’s not worth risking such an important player, best to give him a week to get over his niggle...

I am sulking very hard as I have every sign of having a cold and therefore need to remain in the warmth of my apartment rather than being at the ground.
I suppose at least I'm consistent; I'm good for at least one missed home game a year due to illness, but it's not usually this early.
And to all the people who doubted me, hello to them as well. - Mark Webber, Raiders Ballboy and Unluckiest F1 Driver Ever
I'm attacking in the right way, instead of just...attacking in the general direction. - Max Aaron (also eerily apropos for the Green Machine)

Cotric needs to get back to beating players.
The team needs to get back to loving the contact on defence.
Canberra losing along with a left-wing government will see me break things.

I would propose a drinking game - one shot for each mention of how cold it is, two for each mention of the election...but...that seems like a recipe for liver failure, and I'd like to keep my liver intact.

Cotric in his debut at right centre is marked up on Ethan Lowe. Maybe something to exploit

Oooh, watching Paulo so ineffective in this game is making me happy.
Everyone's losing their brains with 10min to go though.

Really? Thought Paulo has been one of their better players. With the ball at least.

Agreed, his second phase play was good for Parra but still glad we have a leaner pack moving forward however

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Rabbitohs back in the sheds, Raiders in a huddle on the field. Cold night. Now they head back into the rooms.

They like to big Paulo up, we done well cutting him and Boyd loose.
Just wish we had Pommy Bateman right now though..and BJ.
And Quentin, he was like a silent assasin.
Respect to Bob Hawke as well

Uh...that was some awkwardly bad, bad implications there in that Hodgo voiceover. Very bad.
