I have another theory... and I know it’s out there, but bear with me, but maybe... MAYBE... the Storm are playing a less disciplined game tonight
Nah, probably just unconscious bias against them at home

I don't always get a chance to watch it but Annesley does a weekly debrief on the games over the weekend with speed of the ruck stats. And as GE has mentioned before the Raiders were highlighted as a 'slow' team leading into the Sea eagles game where we were heavily penalised.

Common sense says try.
So if a team gets their biggest player to run as a decoy full steam into the 2 markers on the tryline and the dummy half walks through the gap and scores, that's ok?

I’m just explaining what I saw and how video refs saw it too.
In your fantasy scenario, did the defenders make a decision to tackle the decoy runner?

If you considered any of the analysis presented by the referees themselves, you'd give yourself an uppercut. Or 20. The referees themselves have pointed out that the Storm has been one of the teams slowing the play the ball (based on their metrics) in their weekly review, as presented by referees boss Graham Annesley. And that they haven't been being penalised. It had to sort of click with them at some point...

Whether they're attempting to make the tackle or not shouldn't be the deciding factor. This isn't gridiron, you can't send a couple of 150kg blockers at the d line creating gaps.
Melbourne Storm steal 24-22 win over tough Wests Tigers with late match-winner
Storm centre Will Chambers pulled Melbourne back from the brink with a late try to hand victory to Craig Bellamy's men, when all night it was the Wests Tigers that seemed to have the upper hand.

They played well enough to win but just dropped off in the last 10 minutes. Good tactics to hit the edges instead of just hitting it up through the middle. Shifting the Storm forwards around. Kicking well away from Ado-Carr and Munsters side. Channelling a lot of attack at Croft.

Nah, it’s just because the refs are finally cracking down on them
‘Bout time too

Has anyone ever told you... you know... you really are a jerk?
Maybe just terribly naive?
Or maybe you just like to deliberately ignore reputable academic and other analysis.
Or maybe... and bear with me here... I’m able to watch games without a ridiculous bias (some might even call it unconscious) against and towards certain teams depending on whether or not their jersey is lime green?
Nah, you’re right, I’m just a jerk... it’s clearly the referees at fault, as always

Nope, he's just being a Jerkman.
This feels like an official judgement... and i've been conditioned to just argue against any officials call that goes against my belief so, to me this is just irrefutable evidence that the officials of this site are biased against Rickman
On a side and completely unrelated note, anyone see how the Storm closed out that last few minutes after they scored the winning try? Absolutely did it clinically and to perfection.
But yeah, nah, they’re only where they are due to referees and their unconscious blah blah blah

It is now conscious and deliberate bias you are exhibiting.
Mate, one of us is allowing their preconceived notions and biases dictate what happened in tonight’s game, the other one of us is playing what they see before them, exactly how it played out... I’ll allow you to decide who was who

You'll know when there's an official judgement of a moderator. I'm responding as someone who I thought was a friend... is consistently belittling me.
