Wow mass changes for Broncos. Let's hope they fail again but I think they might be flat track bullies this year.

Titans putting up a good fight here. Sharks better switch on or they'll get smashed here

We should look at signing Fotuaika. No one is really talking about him, but I’m watching closely and he is a young gun.

Peachey gives away a penalty late in the count. That was all kinds of stupid.

Possibly but it was minor and to react like that was a coach killer.

Peachey has to get dumped after that performance. With the game on the line he just lost the plot.

I wouldnt drop anyone tbh, they gave their all and frankly deserved to win. They got **** a bit hard tonight
Re: 2019 NRL Round 9 - Teams and Game Day
Titans game management is terrible. They play really well for periods and then just go to sleep and let games slip away from them.

Re: 2019 NRL Round 9 - Teams and Game Day
Taylor really struggling to live up to his early promise as a halfback. He's meant to be the guy leading this team.

Re: 2019 NRL Round 9 - Teams and Game Day
After putting together a decent first half they (collectively) just did absolutely nothing in the second half. But yeah, not good enough from Taylor and I say again I've never rated Peachey.Northern Raider wrote:Taylor really struggling to live up to his early promise as a halfback. Cronulla Sharks lose Fifita and Prior but dig deep to outlast Gold Coast Titans
A young star in the making and the game’s oldest warhorse have combined to deliver Cronulla a courageous 26-18 win over the Titans to kick off Magic Round as the Sharks’ injury crisis plunged even deeper.

With a performance like that, you would think Peachey was playing for the 17/18 Raiders. Dumb football.

Re: 2019 NRL Round 9 - Teams and Game Day
Thats almost unfair to the 17/18 Raiders. We had plenty of dumb plays but I can't think of any indivdual player than put managed 3 in a row at the end of a game.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

This is the team that sacked their coach last year when they were in the top 4.
