Agreed and I’m worried that him and Young will be on the same bench which I think would be a mistake.edwahu wrote: ↑April 15, 2019, 9:39 pmjulian87 wrote: ↑April 15, 2019, 9:16 pm A big body has to come in for Tapine. Either Horsburgh or Hunt imo. And I imagine Stuart will be careful with Young. There’s not much point him playing 5-15 minutes for more than a month because he’ll be out of nick. I think we’ll see Murchie in for him for a bit sooner rather than later.
Murchie looks like he had another big game on the weekend, I would say he is due for a chance.

Seeing as Milford stuffed us around before joining the Broncos, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a similar hammering if he's dumb enough to run the ball to the line.
My tip: Sia to smash him like he did the Eels' 5/8th on the weekend.

To me, one of the most notable facets of the Eels game was the utter disrespect most of our players showed Fergo, contempt probably even from the quieter seeming players. But after the game Paulo spent over 15 minutes in conversation with a number of former team mates in obviously friendly fashion. Two former players, two vastly different reactions.yurithe1 wrote: ↑April 16, 2019, 12:28 pmI think that the boys enjoyed hammering Ferguson as well. Add to that, Paps is the only forward in the current squad who was playing at that time. If you include the backs you can add Croker and Wighton. Rapana was floating around at Souths Logan. Basically not too many of our squad would be feeling aggrieved by his leaving.Sid wrote: ↑April 16, 2019, 12:33 pmThe way Milford left is a lot different to how Fergo and Dugan left so I don’t think so. Similar to my post about Milford. Papalii, Croker and Wighton are the only guys who played with Fergo back in 2013. He also didn't do anything wrong. He signed with a different club and then completely played out his contract with us, and still put in 100% the whole time. I'd like to see Murchie in for Tapine, with Horsburgh or L.Bateman in for Young who can get some more minutes under his belt for a week. I know people will be against L.Bateman, but I would like to see how he plays now we are playing a style closer to his strengths.

It’s common sense to rough up Milford. I’m sure there wasn’t too much personal in the attack on Fergo either. He left like half a decade ago. He was just their biggest weapon and we smashed the hell out of him. Put some doubt into the minds of these guys so they aren’t as keen to take on the line

Lodge, TPJ and likely Roberts all missing. Broncos starting side, particulalry forwards still look good. Very thin on the bench though.

JJ Collins? Ok. Weird, thought we'd see the Hors back.
Looks like Collins has been going ok at Mounties. I guess Rick wanted an out and out prop for the bench?

He's giving plenty of guys a chance and Collins the latest one. As the season progresses we can expect to see our bench forwards become more established. Ironicall at the start of the year most of us expected Guler to be a regular in the 17. Been unsighted so far.

Another high energy player coming off the bench. I am a fan of HorsPower and like his aggression, but Collins takes the ball up fearlessly and flat out every carry. I'm looking forward to his debut with us.
