I thought the bunker could only be used in try scoring situations and Milford was nowhere near that.

Such an inconsistent rule too. There's plenty of occasions players ground the ball without intention in their ingoal and it's play on

55th min TRY BRONCOS to Matt Gillett, set up by Nikorima. It has taken almost three quarters of the game for the Broncos to score. Isaako cannot convert.

Sydney Roosters 22-4

The issue for the Roosters is there is no Cronk now on the field, and are already missing Friend and Waerea Hargreaves.

65th min TRY ROOSTERS to James Tedesco, set up by Luke Keary. The Roosters have been in quite a lull since Cronk went off, but that made the Broncos defence look poor. Converted from virtually in front by Mitchell.

Roosters 28-4

ha I'm dirty because I stupidly tipped the Broncos (thus forcing me to cheer for them) but when Alexander said the Roosters were getting ragged I said they'd score. They did.
The Broncos are going to be garbage while they have Nikorima: the poor mans Milford; Boyd, who looks like he should retire, and McCullough, who wouldn't make the Raiders 1st grade squad the way he's going.
It helps that Klein is the worst and most biased ref going around.

I'm glad we didn't spend good money on Pangai. He is most unlikeable.

67th min TRY ROOSTERS to Mitch Aubusson, he gets a double. Isaako knocks on the bomb to the corner and Aubusson comes through and plants it, just staying inside the touch line. No conversion for Mitchell from the sideling.

Roosters 32-4

73rd min Milford kicks ahead, and there's another bombed try for the Broncos! Gehamat Shibasaki goes right over the top of the ball with the line wide open. Knock on.

78th min TRY ROOSTERS That is INCREDIBLE! That try will not be bettered this year. There are multiple kicks, the most amazing passes. The final bomb is knocked on by Oates... and try to Joseph Manu. Mitchell misses the conversion, it hits the post.

Roosters 36-4

Is #penaltybroncos a myth? Should it actually be #penaltyBennett? They really haven't received anywhere near the usual legups and favourable calls.

Confirmation bias from Klein?

Lodge was good. Better than the touch judges, they could have called a few Broncos forward passes too...

What a game. Broncos really missing that McGuire toughness in the middle.

Crazy to think the roosters forwards can perform like that against future origin star Lodge and million dollar man TPJ with JWH still to come back into the side.

Roosters missing Friend, JWH, Morris, Hall and Cronk for 50/60% of the game. Almost brings them back down to the salary cap.

31st min TRY TIGERS to winger Corey Thompson in the corner, following through a Josh Reynolds kick. It is off the back of what looks like a bad call from the referee, ruling a Dylan Edwards knock on, on his goal line. Marsters fails to convert.
