The son of Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart, Jackson, made his debut for the Green Machine's Jersey Flegg team on Friday, playing at fullback, in a proud moment for the family. Right now the Raiders have another fullback lighting it up in Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad. Few have had an impact on Nicoll-Klokstad like Raiders assistant coach Andrew McFadden.

"He helped out heaps, he was the one that originally gave me the call to say there was an opportunity here," Nicoll-Klokstad said.

My mate on the Raiders staff tells me that there is a very promising half in the juniors. Goes by the name of Williams, a Koori lad. Big things are expected.

Jordan Williams? He’s looked pretty good in games I’ve seen. Mitch Souter, Aidan Gaffey, Thomas Croker and Junior Tupou have impressed more, probably. Brayden Robertson has been good too.
