Rennie/Kris is a better centre pairing than Mounties had most of last year.

So at the moment full strength Mounties looks something like this:

1. Brad Abbey
2. Michael Oldfield (Alofi Mataele / Tony Satini)
3. Sebastian Kris
4. Reuben Rennie
5. Andre Niko
6. Ata Hingano (Jack Payne)
7. Brendan O'Hagan
8. Liam Knight
9. ????? (Sam Duggan / Joel Luani)
10. JJ Felise
11. Jack Murchie
12. Makahesi Makatoa
13. Corey Horsburgh

14. Paul Roache
15. Hudson Young (Jarrett Boland)
16. Setefano Hala
17. Royce Hunt

Probably scrape into the finals but they're no longer the force they were in the last few years.
Edit:
Updated to add JJ Felise.

It is the sure sign of an unprofessional organisation not to release their draws until days before a competition actually starts.

Even the junior reps draw was still not final, it still included TBAs and the competition was a week away.

After that trial and with adding Sam Williams and Starling to their side, Mounties should give it another top 4 tilt this year.
Tony Satini especially looks to have improved a lot and once Simonsson settles down and gets his bearings he should be good too.

Canberra Raiders spots on the line in Mounties trial

Coach Ricky Stuart says the forwards selected in tomorrow's Mounties trial would all get about 25-40 minutes to stake their claim to face the Titans in Round 1.

"All those forwards that are playing tomorrow I've had a meeting with them and just made sure there was clarity around the priority of this trial," he said. "Because there'll be players coming out of this trial who get selected from this performance for game one.

If the Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg are playing, it doesn't appear to be at that ground. Mounties have listed a Ron Massey Cup trial beforehand and a Women's match afterwards.
