It's flying along now, quicker than I can keep up with the draft log so I will only update with the picks after each round here. If you follow on the site itself it will give you regular updates in the chat window when someone is picked.

Full round 1 results are below:
1 The Banana Hammocks drafted Jason Taumalolo (NQL)
2 Munster Mongrels drafted Damien Cook (STH)
3 Purtells Turtles drafted Josh Papalii (CNB)
4 Pottsies Vikings GH drafted Jake Trbojevic (MAN)
5 Hail Sezer drafted Josh Hodgson (CNB)
6 The Gum Drops drafted Cameron Smith (MLB)
7 Golden Points drafted Andrew Fifita (CRO)
8 Sir McSquid's Squad drafted Ryan James (GCS)
9 LimeGreenMachines drafted Jamayne Isaako (BRS)
10 Chicken Feets drafted Tom Trbojevic (MAN)
11 Sheriff GH drafted Cameron McInnes (STG)

Players are going so quick.
I have a heap in my preference then they disappear and I have to rethink who to target

It is hard having a plan cause it goes out the window so quickly.
My whole strategy has been turned upside down.

My team looks nothing like what I thought it would . Isaako is my only 1st preference player. And he is a winger .
front row targets I had - Trbojevic , James , Fafita , S.Burgess , Arrow , Papali. Got none
Hooker - Cook and Hodgson - None , Happy with McCullogh though
Backrow - Crighton , Papalli , S.Burgess , Fitzgibbon , Murray , Whitehead , Bateman - Got none

you can see where I am going.

couple of questions that have probably already been answered, do we have lock position in this competition?

also do 2 of the bench spot include Workhorse points?

We have locks.

And all 4 bench spots are workhouse eligible.

I can indeed.

I had no intention of getting a kicker with pick 3 but all the good ones were going. And Kahu was not in plans either but a second first string kicker was too good to pass.

I never grab them so early.

Do you think the kicker cap is enough? It seems like a lot of decent players are going potentially undrafted.

I've also updated the drafted player list above.

You don’t want any more than 15.
Too high and it becomes less challenging

agreed, then a team can stockpile first choice kickers with other teams missing out

Ok, that makes sense.

What happens if a player only becomes a kicker during the season and is in your side?

The players kicker points won't change if that's what you're asking?

I meant if they aren't classified as a kicker but end up taking over kicking duties? Probably won't happen anyway.

FYI for everyone else, each time I pick I am updating the list of drafted players in the post above.

You can select one player each week as the kicker. They don’t need kicker points for you to choose them

If Isaako is injured, Milford takes over kicking duties for the bronchokes and I select Milford as my kicker, even though he doesn't have any kicker points, I will still receive the points he receives as a kicker.

How do player positions get updated, from memory, if a player plays in a new position for 3 games in a row, their new position is added along with the others?

e.g. Aidan Sezer is FE, but if he wears the number 7 for the first 3 games of the season his position changes to FE,HB?

Correct.

It is also if they play 5 games in that position, non consecutive

ah okay, so it's 5 games total, not 3?
Or
3 consecutive / 5 non consecutive total

Does this mean that if you draft a 5/8 who then plays 3 consecutive games at halfback then you cannot select him in your side at 5/8 anymore (after those 3 games at half)?
