There were terrible, totally missed the starting gun and never recovered.

Dear Lord,

Please don't allow Collingwood to win the premiership.

I promise to attend church...

Cheers PJ

Always thought west coast would win, but thought Melbourne would at least put up a fight

That will make both GFs that I don't want any teams to win

It was a great game, WCE left it very late though eh ?

And winning GFs is the best feeling ever. No matter what level of sport you play winning the big dance is an awesome feeling. I've won a few in my time both us a junior and playing 2nd div in Newcastle/Hunter competitions.

It's the team sport atmosphere and camaraderie that makes it special...

Gotta hand it to the AFL PR team. It seems now whenever an AFL player is caught on camera shoving something up their nose it is now the trendy spearmint thingy. I think that's 2 players now that have used it.

I watched one of the semi-finals and it was awful, both entire sides crammed into the middle of the field and neither team able to get it out of the middle. My supervisor is a massive Collingwood supporter and I commented on this - I don't watch it much at all - and even she said this tactic has crept into the game in recent years and she hates it. Last night was good in comparison, from what I watched.

So, thoughts on haneen zreika?

Some of you had pretty strong opinions on Folau.....
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Never heard of her
Googled it... i dont know what you want from this conversation?

Do you think people who had strong views against Folau and his homophobic stance will defend her homophobic stance?

My view on this person, who I'd never heard of before - I had to do a Google search - is the same as my view on Israel Folau.
