Annoying that Cowboys will be on the lookout for a fullback too now
Would have won Boogs - 2016, 2017, 2018

That is a downside of this. Cows may not go too hard for one as they are expected to pick up Holmes after his NRL journey. Morgan could move back there.Sid wrote:Annoying that Cowboys will be on the lookout for a fullback too now

Hampton or TMM seem more likely.

Raiders player signing speculation 2019
You needed to see twitter to drive that home?
When will NRL fans learn that virtually zero people on their 3rd+ chance are worth it.

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019
There was not a sniff (pun unintended) of trouble whilst Barba was at St Helens.
Bet he wishes he'd honoured his contract, now.

He was investigated by the police and nothing came of it. I don't have a problem with us signing anyone in those circumstances.

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019
I think we've been incredibly unlucky how everything has panned out. Hayne getting into trouble. Barba getting banned. DWZ getting injured. I think each of these unrelated events will play a part in us being unable to secure a first grade full back that is looking for an opportunity. Clearly this is not helped by the paltry $ we can offer due to gross cap mismanagement. The result is that we can look forward to seeing Williams or Abbey in our 17 come round 1
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019
We seem to have been unlucky for 3 years. I think it's more likely nobody wants to come to the club.

Why would you want a EDIT to the club ?thedevilingreen wrote: ↑February 1, 2019, 7:31 pm If Barba is back on the market we do go there

It’s taken a long hard effort to rebuild the Clubs culture so why in the world would you want to bring that **** to the Raiders ?? I think we should’ve sacked Wigjton.

Only 3 years?

As far as signings go. We had that year and a bit in 2015 that broke the streak.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019
I'm resigned to the fact that we're wasting our time trying to sign anybody not from Yorkshire or Lancashire
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019
There's nothing wrong with that, great people from Yorkshire.

At that time we did get 'unlucky' with Tedesco, Mansour, Proctor and Ennis.edwahu wrote: ↑February 5, 2019, 10:55 amAs far as signings go. We had that year and a bit in 2015 that broke the streak.

Nothing wrong with the people, obviously, it's just a smaller than optimal catchment compared with the rest of the NRL
