Wooden spoon line up? I've added some polls to each of the 2019 club threads... vote on where you think the teams will finish in 2019.

That really is a horrible side.

It’s really going to hurt when they beat us again.

The dogs are one team we have had the wood on over the last few seasons.

It is hard to see Napa showing any kind of consistency, they have let go a load of experience and Foran will no doubt be phoning it in. Sportsbet rightly have them as favourites for the spoon.

The pack isn't too bad. The rest are pretty ordinary. A long 2019 for Dogs fans.

Some quality forwards but not enough in the spine to get them out of the bottom four.

Rhyse Martin was one of their best players last year. Would be very surprised to see him not in the starting 13, let alone the 17.

Goal kicker too isn't he? Klemmer is a massive loss, but they played with plenty of guts last year.

No longer at the roosters so no longer a protected species.

Nothing should come of it. Didnt break any laws. A private video leaked. Should claim to be the victim

Dogs will be nuisance value this year.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Agree that whoever is leaking the videos is a lowlife.

But what is the deal with these morons filming themselves (or consenting to being filmed) having sex or performing lewd acts with their mates in the room? Surely the NRL has a higher than normal level of blokes that get off on this type of behaviour which i'd consider abnormal? As I said the other day this oneupmanship is part of it but there seems to be a larger appetite to do these things than what is common.

I'm not sure how much more the NRL and clubs can do to protect these players from themselves, they seem to believe that uploading to WhatsApp groups rather than social media is above board and a strong enough privacy protection. I just can't fathom the stupidity to be honest.
We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.

i think part of the problem is they trust each other too much and are too comfortable with each other.
They spend half their time naked in the change rooms together or sharing a motel room. They wrestle together, tackle each other where stray hands go into places accidentally.
They joke together all the time. You see it on instagram and footy shows all the time. Which is all filmed.

its not a "normal" workplace, when was the last time you saw your colleges nude?

The team is "all in it together" so they let their guard down and things get videoed or photographed.
Problems occur when they show their mates, lose their phone or have a falling out.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I heard a name today. Which I believe to be correct. It will be interesting if the police get involved.

Napa may have been young and stupid, but that won't save him from ban

Bulldogs fans brace yourselves: Dylan Napa may have been a young, up-and-coming Rooster when he starred in the lewd “Big Papi” tapes five years ago, but that won’t save him.

He won’t be playing for you in round one. In fact, at best, you won’t see him until about round five in April. Maybe not until round seven. If he had made the tapes this off-season, you wouldn’t have seen him at all in 2019 under NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg's new no mercy edict on bad behaviour.

Like Raiders copping the Sandor Earl stuff when he was a Penrith player at the time of the indescretion and the Panthers walking away free from media scrutiny and NRL punishment.
