He's their up and coming half. Good player, but I'll be surprised if he's ready for first grade.
Re: New Zealand Warriors 2019
How old is he? They lost their next gen halves in Lino and Hingano so he must be a young bloke?

Re: New Zealand Warriors 2019
I know in many teams their is no difference between a 6 and a 7 but I would be giving Blake Green the 7 and making it abundantly clear that it is his team and the young kid is just going a long for the ride.

Re: New Zealand Warriors 2019
This is the message to be sending down. These guys are failing horribly if they don't make the 8. Green is your man and the Scorpion King can do whatever he feels like at 6 and learn how the game needs to be played.
They have an absolutely HUGE talent in Chanel Harris-Tavita but as we have all seen there is a massive difference in being another Lolohea and being a Croft (not Lara).

Re: New Zealand Warriors 2019
I can’t see Kearney picking CHT especially not early on .
I reckon he’ll pick Hiku at 5/8, horrible move imo but he’s selected him there for the kiwis a few years back when there were better options around(benji)
