As long as the corporate boxes are air conditioned I'm OK with it.greeneyed wrote: ↑November 27, 2018, 9:44 pmThere are no general admission "seats" at that ground.JezTez1984 wrote: ↑November 27, 2018, 9:44 pmPlease dont tell me you'll have to sit in a normal seat with the rest of us poverty stricken chaps?? I somehow doubt that. There is a sort of indoor area in the grandstand, which I guess they will use for corporates and the Wagga Council. There are no corporate boxes or any corporate facilities of any kind that you'd see at any NRL stadium.Northern Raider wrote: ↑November 27, 2018, 9:47 pmAs long as the corporate boxes are air conditioned I'm OK with it.greeneyed wrote: ↑November 27, 2018, 9:44 pmThere are no general admission "seats" at that ground.JezTez1984 wrote: ↑November 27, 2018, 9:44 pmPlease dont tell me you'll have to sit in a normal seat with the rest of us poverty stricken chaps?? Surely the have a bunker-like underground Pleasure Dome? Or the corporates will be floated above the ground in flying drone chairs?

I'm sure greeneyed has a helicopter that we can all cramp into to get a birds eye view of the game. Surely this site makes millions in revenue??

When you say "bunker-like" are you referring to a room with 3 referees surrounded by a bunch of TV screens?

Re: Canberra Raiders express interest in Kiwi superstar Shaun Johnson
For those people who have never been to McDonalds Park at Wagga Wagga... there is a small grandstand, very small. Clearly, this is not being made available to the general public. So your options are to stand, sit on the small hill looking into the sun... or not much else. Bring a fold up chair if you want to sit, but you probably won't see the game. It is a very poor quality ground, even for a country town. There are much better facilities at Dubbo, Mudgee, Tamworth... even Albury, which is a poor ground for rugby league. I just shake my head at the fact that the club has elected to take one of our home premiership games to such a poor quality venue.

Firstly, why did you allow the club to take a match to such a poor venue?
Secondly, how much will it cost to rent out the grandstand for this event?
Thirdly, if I forget my fold up chair will there be fold up chairs provided by yourself or the venue?
Fourthly, why will I miss the game if I choose to rest peacefully in my fold up chair?
Fifthly, are you into the Turps tonight?

Re: Canberra Raiders express interest in Kiwi superstar Shaun Johnson
I ban because I don't care
Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Nah I'm over it....To be honest Jnr and he who breaks things would rather sign forwards and defend drunk morons then getting quality players into the club.
