Did you know? There have been 17 Canberra Raiders players who have scored four tries in a match... but only one who has scored five... Mal Meninga! Can you name any of the others? Who did it most recently?

Rapa has 4 doesn't he?

Campo has 4 as well I think. The rest would be guesses:

Reece Robinson had 4 against the Cowboys back in 2010 I think, surely Colin Best got 4 at least once. Maybe even Phil Graham?

Saw Mal do it. But I'm sure Ashley Gilbert did it. Gary Coyne did it in a semifinal.

Brenko scored 4 (I actually thought it was 5) and should have had one more. He was then dropped the following week for Ed lee

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. I believe Chicka was the first to do it in 1988 vs the Gold Coast Giants. First time we racked up 50 points in a game too if memory serves.

Who remembers that Mullins scored 3 tries the week before the Souths game; Rd 16 vs Cronulla.

11 tries across 3 consecutive weeks.

I'm certain that record will never be broken.

A perfect 5 out of 7, on the gangers system

I suspect when you’ve overheard Kurri residents discussing “pure speed” they perhaps were referring to something else...

1 try for me in a Russell Crowe photo op. He put on a game on touch footy during the Ben Hur auditions. I was up against this gangly thespian, who looked like he didn’t know what he was doing.
Ball came out to me, I put on the old Fui sidestep, got around him and put it down in the corner*.
Didn’t get the role, but I got to score in front of Rusty

*I need to point out the Fui sidestep was this awkward half jump, followed by an even more awkward mid air jig. It never paid off until this time, and I think the only reason it worked was because this guy had zero clue.

I know! He left then signed to come back and reneged. Then had one fairly long but mostly unremarkable career.
