Not even a month after we laid out turf, council decided to lay footpaths, so it all got ripped up. No one on our side of the street got any warning. The other side of the street were made aware, but everyone assumed it was because their side have the street lights, made sense for the footpath to go there.

Anyway, after some protests, they agreed to replace the turf. Problem was, they did it in the middle of winter, and it just hasn’t caught on yet

Fui, I'm hearing ya. I really am.
But..check this out.

I dabble in darts. In fact I'm a freak and im ranked #1 in my street. I like to drink beer and throw some darts most arvos. I have longnecks full of beer lids everywhere. So.. the wife likes to come out to the shed every now and then(is she checkin on me?)and have a practice throw. She's @and$?!)$ terrible and for this reason alone I have a spare set of darts. Ironically these cheap darts have Raiders flights..ha.

So..she's come out and grabbed the Raiders darts. I stand back. She's real dangerous.

First dart hits the brick wall, second dart she jags a 4, third dart hits a longneck beer bottle and breaks the neck clean off..

Now..this beer bottle is on the floor at least 1.7metres below the dartboard..

And you think you've got issues.. :)

Oh dear, yeah you win Peej.

Speaking of Darts though, my mate and I have a bit of a Tri-Series we do every now and then. Consists of Go-Karts, Darts and Tennis. Go-Karts are my thing, Darts is his, and it always comes down to Tennis.

Anyway, I’m terrible at Darts, but the last time we played, I pulled off this once in a lifetime throw.

Yes, it’s holding on by the feather. I was targeting 18, and insisted it counted haha

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Any VBA experts on the forum? I'm stuck.

I'm building this Milestone Register, where my team can collate what they're working on, when it's due, current status etc. Almost like a Kanban board in Excel.
So far, I have a counter, so when the status is "Open" (Column F) there's a countdown to the due date. When you change the status to "Closed", the counter stops.

What I want to do now, is rig it up so either
A. When you select "Closed" the whole row that task is on gets hidden
B. Create a Macro and Button that hides any row where the status is "Closed"

Does anyone know how I can do this? I think option B will be easier, but I can't get it working

I went to Floriade today. I hadn't been until last year for a long time. It's fundamentally never changed since year one. But somehow... it seems to be going backwards. I actually had a good time last year, sitting in the open as the afternoon wore on listening to music.

I got there this afternoon at about 2:30pm. Lots of food and other stalls already closed. Couldn't find somewhere to buy a glass of wine. Music seems to had finished by the end of lunch time. The whole place is a complete dust bowl. It looked shabby, worn and tired. Not much fun in the quirky installations/sculptures, and a lot fewer of them. I admit it was cold, cloudy and windy, so that might have impacted my perceptions. But I had a bad time.

Plus a limited number of country show fair rides. The whole thing needs a major revamp. It also needs to be located in Weston on a purpose built site. They need to quit churning up Commonwealth Park like this.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Archery+Wheelchair Rugby.

Rip in Pete..

# He was on Australian Story last night. He's been through a very rough time but has recovered through intense rehab. A Blackhawk helicopter crash in Afghanistan 2010 near killed him..3 of his mates were killed. He survived, he's now up and about and I'm damn proud of him.

you're fast General, it was an autocorrect from Dubbo to Dunno that I edited.

These Royals, they seem to swan about not doing anything or helping anyone but plenty turn out to see them, I don't get it. Maybe that's how they stay rich.
